If she did that's got to be the crowning achievement of her career. Arishok seems like a tough cookie to crack. Though, he might share Sten's weakness for kittens and cookies.

i cant hand her over the the Arishok...ever, mainly coz he refused to give up the elves and then expects me to give up my friend/lover/aqquaintance? The other reasons are that she came back to sort things out and wants to be a better person

Killing that terrorist butthead Anders is one thing, he blew up a load of people, but Izzy just stole a book...which she brought back...that doesnt deserve a betrayal

True, but a pic of Isabela's cleavage and anything would win, I think the poem manages to hold it's own even without said cleavage (although a pic wouldn't hurt).

So, I don't think I've ever posted here, despite my deep love and appreciation of Isabela. I love pretty much every single thing about her character, especially her incredible amounts of awesomeness when it comes to the women around her. By the end of the game, she's probably the best friend my Hawke has, non-crazy category, and it hurts me that people don't bother with her because she can leave Hawke, or they hand her over to the Arishok (wot) because...they suck, or something.

Anyway, all that preamble for a little bit of cute art that I had commissioned because I just wanted a nice, friendshippy moment. It's just a sketch of my Hawke and Isabela. She's reading a bit of templar slash that Hawke loaned her (and, from her smirk, probably thinking of ways to make it better):

Yep! Lots of artists on Deviant Art and tumblr do commissions and some are way into Dragon Age. The artist for that picture, Vanessa C., posted a thingy on her tumblr and I jumped, since I really liked another sketch she'd done of Isabela.

New topic. We know that Isabela likes to call Hawke 'sweet thing' and 'goose' but what are your Hawke's pet names for Isabela? Other than 'wench' that's a given.

My warrior Hawke is almost entirely witty when it comes to conversing with her pirate and probably a little wary of making Isabela uncomfortable with over-soppiness. I think Marian sticks to 'gorgeous' and the occasional 'savvy'.

I've seen a lot of fiction writers use "Bela" as a shorter name for her, though I never have. I've always been partial to "feisty temptress" since I heard it in Act 2.

"feisty temptress" is the only one that comes to mind. My Hawke isn't really big on nicknames (Varric and Isabela have that covered).
