Oh come on man! I was just about to respond and compliment you for finally showing a sense of humor!

Just because Hawke is from Ferelden and Isabela is from Rivain doesn't make their love any more disturbing than the next couple.the_one_54321 wrote...
I just find the whole alien love thing very very disturbing.

You do have to talk her into it, and have a fairly high persuade skill, otherwise she turns you down. But I'm not sure what the issue is. Three of the four romance partners in DA:O have pasts that include multiple sexual partners, where love in not involved. Alistair is the only love interest who is sexually inexperienced. At least two of them have had countless sexual partners, and I get the impression Morrigan may have as well.

I mean literally someone at Bio must've said "Out of the several hundred minor characters we have in DA:O, let's take the most lowbrow floozy in the entire game and turn her into a fully fledged character! And make her a romance on top of that!". And someone else must've said "Boy, that's a jolly good idea!". I mean I just can't figure out what the rationale behind that decision was.

What strikes me as odd about Isabela is that her promiscuity was the starting point of her character. Actually, I believe the starting point of Isabela's character was that she was the deadliest duelist of the high seas. The promiscuity was a perk.dan107 wrote...

Yeah, I'm going to dispute that anything remotely resembling that conversation "must" have taken place.

Well I'm exaggerating, obviously, but you see my point. Isabela's main distinction in DA:O was her promiscuity, and really lowbrow promiscuity to boot, and that's the character out of literally hundreds that they chose to develop into a romance?

Really? You really think that the fact that she can teach you dueling is more memorable than the fact that your entire party can bang her after a 5 minute conversation?

You know, I actually never did that. All I did was learn to duel.dan107 wrote...

A perk you needed 75/100 Coercion to even unlock. Making your Warden pretty damn smooth.
Also the notion of an expert pirate duelist reminds me of Sid Meier's Pirates!.

No dead husband: Morrigan, Leliana, Tali, Miranda, Jack, Liara, Ashely, Bastila, Dawn Star, Silk Fox, Viconia, Wingless Elf girl.
I can only think of two female love interests with dead husbands, and the last one was in NWN, which came out almost a decade ago.
