My Hawke knew she loved Isabela really early on too. In fact, after Isabela has dealt with Lucky's thugs in her entrance scene I can imagine Hawke saying to her compnaions in a dumfounded, joking way 'I...I think I'm in love.'. Cue concerned stares from all companions as Hawke goes over to said pirate.

So when Isabela propositioned Hawke in the Chantry, there was no way she was waiting around too long.

Actually, the sex is so good that it mind wipes you. Hawke and Isabela are constantly waking up in bed with no memory of the previous night, but they always assume it's because they drank so much.

Amnesiac Hawke for protagonist in Dragon Age 3.

Inorite? Why, oh why doesn't Hawke get to at least flirt back. :crying: Or, you know, take her up on it. B)

Yes there should have been a coy 'I'll keep that in mind...' response or something, although Hawke's 'oh yeahh' expression is priceless when Isabela makes the offer.

No spoilers for anyone yet, but I am loving Isabela's part in MotA. It's given me a lot to think about.

Dammit, I lost all my saves D: I'm trying to at least get to Act 2 and start a romance with Izzy before I do the DLC... How many references to a romance with her are there?

By my count after 2 playthroughs:

1 banter (seems like 2, but not positive)
4 conversation bits

Sounds great. Any other companion recommendations, before I get my hands on the DLC (stupid timezones :D) ? I got that right that the... eh... what's her name.... the Felicia Day elf is taking up one companion spot, right?

So... Aveline or Bethany. Can't decide :pinched:

Both Aveline and Bethany seem to have their own quests. I've done Aveline's and Isabela's, but not Bethany's.

Ah, never mind. There are quests with barks (spoken stuff but no gameplay interruption) for each character you bring along that results in a character-specific necklace. There appears to be special quest content with dialogue and everything for Isabela and Aveline.

For the treasure hunting types, there is also 1 of each weapon class available in the DLC, but only on certain paths/choices.

Ah, okay. So two playthroughs it is then. One with Aveline and one with little Beth :D

Gahh I have to wait until the weekend to play it since I'm at uni now. But I will definately be taking Isabela and Aveline with me. I decided to complete Legacy on a save just before the final mission in Act 3 just to make sure I get all romance dialogue, will be using that save here too. Glad to hear its mentioned though!

I was extremely pleased with Isabela's part in MotA, particularly her conversation with Tallis in the cave

I'm debating on whether to give Isabela the dagger of the four winds or save those pirates.
Why oh why couldn't there have been the option to say "Hey, give it to me!"

I told her to give it away.

I like it when she complains that my "goody two-shoes" ways are rubbing off on her

Yea I decided she should give it away.

But at the same time.... it has 4 rune slots and does electricity damage! Posted Image

I've heard that the dagger was pretty sweet (albeit 'cursed'...and who knows how cursed items in the DA-verse will truly play out). My Hawke left it to her to decide, she fussed and gave it away, and then the pirates showed up to assist in a fight later on. While not as awesome as a dagger, it was still a nice dollop of good swashbuckler karma.

The first three crewman in Isabelas new crew! That's a good start, isn't it? ^_^

I admit if the dagger had a unique model I would have told Isabela to keep it...

It's funny how my Hawke's goody two shoes-ness is rubbing off on Izzy and how Isabela's naughtiness is rubbing off on my Hawke.

lulz... rubbing

I let her keep it. She wants a new shiny dagger :wizard:

Hawke is Isabela's first crewman. Duh. :P Isabela needs someone she can trust to polish her yardarm. Batten down her hatches. Swab her poop deck.

On a side note, I was really disappointed that Isabela didn't stick around for the fancy party. I would have loved to see her at one. Isabela and Sister Nightingale with Hawke, take two.
