BioWare is doing that on purpose. They fuel my expectations and then they don't deliver. It's sheer torture

I'm playing a no-elemental-weapons playthrough anyway. Though I agree, if there'd been a new mesh I might well have kept it). Makes me curious if the conversation in the cave would have run differently at a different point in the romance/part of the approval meter as well.

Ok, so I have a question for all of you who romanced Isabela and took her along in MotA.

Does Hawke still get to kiss Tallis if Isabela is romanced and present? I flirted with Tallis every chance I had and, at the end, Isabela says something like "There's plenty of Hawke to go around. Just ask me nicely.", but no kiss scene. Does this only trigger if your LI is not present?

Tallis will only kiss Hawke if no love interest is present. If you don't romance anybody, you're fine; otherwise the love interest has to stay home.

The "I have Hawke" is probably my favorite Izzy scene in the game. My Hawke completely melted when she heard that. It's beyond adorable and not something I'd expect Isabela to say publicly. 

All in all, a truly pleasant surprise.

I don't think she made any jealous remarks on my playthrough. But that's probably because I used a Hawke from Act 3 who completed all her personal quest.

Next time I'll take her with me in Act 2 and see what's different.

Yeah, I can see how that can be interpreted as Izzy being a bit possessive.

I saw it this way:

Isabela does not mind sharing Hawke physically, as long as Hawke's ok with it and the person she's sharing Hawke with acknowledges that Hawke belongs to Isabela. 

Tallis, on the other hand, is not the type who would do something like that, and so she just expresses her (slight) jealousy, and goes on her way.

The line is "She likes rogues. Rivaini rogues, especially" and it comes from taking the first flirt with Tallis in the cave before the choice of whether to join or leave.

Izzy is a bit jealous but in the end she does not mind, as long as Tallis realizes who Hawke really "belongs" to.

I think the fact that Talis is a random Qunari agent who keeps getting Hawke nearly killed is probably a factor, too. I can see Izzy manifesting a bit of possessiveness just out of "really, Hawke? Her of all people?" even if she's not opposed to Hawke sleeping with [generic non-Izzy] partners in general.

Though there is also her fairly pointed response to Talis' "are you married" commentary.

I admit, that caught me by surprise, and I enjoyed it immensely. I could totally imagine subsequent scenes where Isabela does "subtle" things to demonstrate the extent of their relationship to Tallis.

I don't think they do. I played it once with an act 2 save after having slept with her (but obviously still far from completing the romance) and the lines I got are pretty much the same I've seen from everyone else.

I thought Isabela and Tallis were great together. Where Isabella and Aveline can't get along at all, Isabela and Tallis felt more like friendly rivals. I loved the final flirt option with Isabela and Tallis. The wink Isabela gave was golden. She pretty much stole the show for me in MOTA especially after not having much to say or do in Legacy.

Isabela could then complain about not getting something to drink, and Hawke could promise her to bring her something afterwards, or something.

This video has Isabela saying "Oh, it is. Trust me." but in my playthroughs (snarky lady Hawke), she said "She likes rogues. Rivaini rogues, especially."

Can anyone verify? I wonder what other lines of dialogue are different based on personality or gender?

I'm just replaying MotA to see what Bethany has to say in the DLC. I will use the flirt option at that point and report back when I know what she says to my diplomatic male Hawke

Is there any specific banter between bethany and isabela if you have started a romance with isabela and already slept with her before starting Legacy? I know she has a short cut scene at the start of Legacy but is there anything else like how bethany teases merill if you romanced her? I am asking because i am in the middle of a new game with isabela as my LI, i am in act 2, just slept with isabela started legacy but other than the cut scene at the start i have not gotten any banter about isabela as my LI. don't want to miss anything so if i need to get further in my romance with isabela before i get any fun banter than i will have to restart from one of my savegames

I didn't get any romance specific banter between Isabela and Bethany... their conversation when looking for Hawke is cute though.
