I have the sense most people match her with a purple Hawke, like above and beyond the degree to which purple Hawke is already the most popular. I do too, mostly, but I think the diplo!Hawke/friend combo is kind of an interesting one; she perceives any friended Hawke as fun, carefree and a bit rougish, but diplo!Hawke is always telling her things like "save your coin to buy a ship" and just generally being serious and responsible. I can see ignoring jerk!Hawke's jerkiness on the strength of her actions, but ignoring diplo!Hawke's... saccharineness on the strength of hers seems much more telling to me, for some reason.

Well, here's a question. What personality type do you romance Izzy with?

Well my blue hawks always kept izzy away with a long pole.
I tried to rivalmance izzy with a good/judgemental hawk, but hated the judgemental conversations. It was interesting to see however.
Izzy is most definetly a sacastic femhawk romance for me.

Same as above. Merrill, Isabela and Varric are the dream team.

Isabela and sarcastic Hawke are loads of fun together. Whatever mischief Izzy comes up with, my Hawke is always ready to join in the fun. Pair them with Varric and it's a real riot.

So how old do you guys and gals think Izzy is?
Late 20s in beginning of DA2, mid thirties by the end?

Do you guys and gals think Issy is more important then she appears, the reason why i said this is because in Rivain the more tattoos and piercings you have the more important you are.Duncan is also from Rivain he did not have any tattoos but one ear piercing so what do you all think?
Where'd you hear that from?
Isabela has one piercing (i'm a going to assume that like the present, having your ears pierced is commonplace) and no visible tattoos so...
and
Duncan was born in Fereldan but spent most of his life in Orlais. As far as I know he's never BEEN to Rivain. Meh.

"Social standing in Rivain is often marked by tattoos and body piercings. The more elaborate one's decorations, the higher one's rank."
As for Isabela's importance and social ranking, it's certainly possible that she "acquired" some of that due to her marriage. I always took her piercings to be more about her personal sense of style however.

It wasn't directly confirmed, but I suspect that she moved to Antiva when she was sold into marriage. Most of what Isabela talks about is life in Antiva, not Rivain. Since she was the daughter of a fake seer, she probably didn't have much in terms of social standing.

Most of her adult (pirating) life could have been outside Rivain. At least that is the impression I got. The richer nations seem more obvious targets. Also, she seems to be quite knowledgeable about Orlais, Ferelden and Antiva to name a few.hoorayforicecream wrote...

I hope that the next series doesn't treat her like the last one did.

Though, if you feel it's a big issue, you may consider dropping David Gaider a line on Twitter, if only to get his thoughts on the matter.
