So how do you guys and gals feel about the new comic that's coming out Those Who Speak with Issy,Alistair and Varric.And how do you fell about our Hawkes not being able to go with her?

I'm interested in reading it foremost from a lore perspective, but I can't say that they handled Isabela particularly well in 'The Silent Grove.' The blog that hoorayforicecream posted a few days ago addresses some of those concerns. In general though, I felt that Isabela was muted and tempered in that series. Reduced to exaggerated posing and such. While she is a character who is sexy, sexual, and knows how to make her presence known when entering a room, the substance of her, all of the qualities and strengths that you can see in-game, seemed to be missing in the comic.

I have a feeling we might get more of that in 'Those Who Speak' but with a story that is supposed to be centered around her, I can only hope that some of that substance will be in the forefront, and that as both the character she is, and as a female hero, she is presented in a respectful light.

As for Hawke not being on the adventure, that makes a lot of sense. There are a myriad of Hawkes, a myriad of headcanons, and it would be extremely difficult to present the Champion in a way that most would find suitable. But I always figured that the companions all ventured out on adventures and trips without Hawke now and again, whether as a favor to someone, to make some coin, spread some influence, etc.

I have the sense most people match her with a purple Hawke, like above and beyond the degree to which purple Hawke is already the most popular. I do too, mostly, but I think the diplo!Hawke/friend combo is kind of an interesting one; she perceives any friended Hawke as fun, carefree and a bit rougish, but diplo!Hawke is always telling her things like "save your coin to buy a ship" and just generally being serious and responsible. I can see ignoring jerk!Hawke's jerkiness on the strength of her actions, but ignoring diplo!Hawke's... saccharineness on the strength of hers seems much more telling to me, for some reason.

Diplomatic Hawke, but I didn't befriend her. My PC's starch like personality matched Isabela's complaints quite well.

Question - is it possible to get romanced Isabela to sleep with Hawke and one of the workers at the Blooming Rose? I assume not since I tried a few times in Act 2 and Act 3 but for some reason I thought it was possible?

I haven't been able to get her to. I believe outside of head canon the only threesome action DA gets will always involve Zevran.

I also romanced Isabella with a Funny Femhawke. I actually thought they worked perfectly together. So much so that, while Isabella herself is definately not my favorite Bioware romance, strangly I think the two of them together are my favorite couple in a Bioware game.

I initially thought Isabella was just kinda "meh" but overtime,like a lot of the companions, she really grew on me and I thought she was great by the end. In fact she is one of the reasons why pirates are now in my top 3 of my favorite nerdy historical warriors.

Her romance outfit isn't that different from her normal one (I didn't even realize she had changed at first), she'll wear a black corset and red band on the arn.

I romance Isabella with a sarcastic Hawke. They seem to go together very well. She, Varric, and Aveline are the only characters without any mental issue. I choose to romance Anders the first time, but he's totally psycho near the end, Fenris keeps going on and on about how bad mages are, we get it already, Merrill puts her entire clan at risk by choosing to make a deal with a demon (in some cases, she killed everyone in her clan), Everyone in your group seems to be in a bad mood except for Isabela. That's why I bring her almost every chance possible.

Oh you found NPC Presets, did you?

Goody. I do think Isabela looks the best when her hair is pulled BACK from her face. She has very adorable, pronounced cheeks and the rest of her face reflects that. Her chin looks a bit stubby and you can't see the rest of her (nice jaw) when hair is covering her face.

But I like her lipstick and eyeshadow (are those mods??!?!)

I was using a lot of appearance mods in my override. I would order them by priority in folders. That was really messing with my CC. I was missing a lot of presets. I also had a conflict that made Isabela's body and starting armor (the armor was dark brown) much darker than the original design. Her default head was different than her body, and i couldn't match my morphs either.

RogueLass on Nexus has a mod called 'DA2 Characters and Much More'. One of the downloads is all of the Nexus appearance mods up to that date, with a compiled CharGenMorph. I added a new mod, 'More Hairstyles for DA2 Part 1' by ViLiSSa. I found out what a CharGenMorph compiler was, and used it and wallah...

The lipstick (my favorite) and eyeshadow are one of the Isabela original skintone presets. I loved the hair, but i don't play female voiced PCs, so i tried it for Isabela. I didn't know if it was right for her though. So i posted here for opinions.
