Anyone have a preference for which class to romance Isabela as? I'm rolling a femHawke for her on my next playthrough, and I can't decide if I want to be a rogue or a mage...

Anyone have a preference for which class to romance Isabela as? I'm rolling a femHawke for her on my next playthrough, and I can't decide if I want to be a rogue or a mage...

I love Rogue Hawke in general but it works with my headcanon that she teaches Hawke how to be a Duelist.

And Duelist Hawke is best Hawke.

My FemHawke was a Two Handed Warrior. I thought that worked pretty well.

I set up my Hawke to be a rogue who romanced Isabella using Dragon Age Keep, yet for some reason when I finally met him the guy was using a bow instead of two daggers. Don't get me wrong, the bow probably looked better than Hawke's default daggers but I was wondering what changed his arsenal? I guess Sebastien Vael helped him out with some practice. 

 

So my bow rogue and Isabela would easily be able to dominate hectic ship combat, him sniping from above and her on the decks with blades at the ready. For me I always figured a rogue would make a better sailor because they use less armor, which matches up with a Hawke who wants to become Isabela's first mate.

I'll probably roll a rogue. Maybe an archer, to contrast with Isabela and give me another excuse for being busom buddies with Varric?

Guess this place is good as any... Recently purchased the hardcover collection for the comics. Wish I didn't. I don't see how the writers thought the comics Isabela was anywhere close to being in character given DA2's portrayal. I rarely felt like it was Isabela on the page. All the pre existing characters really.....

If Isabella shows ip again, I hope these comics are wholly ignored. Talk about a huge disappointment. But not like comics in general are worth much of late.....

I am gonna romance Isabela again... Although this time Friendship mode  I don't like it... Rivalry Isabela is the only way to go.

I like them both pretty well. Depends on my mood and what kind of Hawke I'm playing.

All of the Hawkes I play in DA2 are humorous - it's only those in the Keep that get to be another trait, like Aggressive and Diplomat, so I like to make headcounts that any Hawke who romances Isabela besides for my Canon Hawke, friendship romances her.
