Haha, I was trying to figure this out myself the other day... I'm wondering if they'll even leave her appearance in Denerim as 'canon' for DA2 at all though? With her new role, it does seem a bit out of place unless she leaves after the Blight and that is when she first meets Hawke in Kirkwall.pixieface wrote...

Well, since she leaves after you encounter her in the brothel.... I guess that depends on when you speak to her...
Also, she's a sailor. She goes from port to port. Denerim's a port. Kirkwall is a port. That explains how and why she was in either location right there.

well i think isabela made it clear she was only in denerim for her crew, and that she wants to get as far away from the blight as she can. But of she is setting sail from denerim, how will she meet hawke? later, or does hawke meet her at the last second.
