I got that she beat the crap out of people, cheated at cards, was a pirate, and one of the most formidible fighters around considering she could teach my Warden something.  In addition to that, that is.

Then they can bang Gheyna and act like she is their waifu for all eternity.  There was no virgin option in Origins with the exception of Alistair, and I doubt everyone throwing the **** word around rolled a female just to romance Alistair to keep their creepy virgin fetish rolling.

Since I'll try to remain polite, I'll just say "woman that had sex multiple times".

Many people on the forums, when it was announced the Isabela would return, were freaking out saying that we recieved another "woman that had sex multiple times" for a male romance option. Calling them all dirty names like "woman that had sex multiple times".

They listed every female romance option and said they were all "woman that had sex multiple times" and that they were all bad romances because of it. A few of us found it silly because they'd list Liara / Tali / Bastila (... ect) as people fitting those roles.

I do believe it's just people that like the sounds of their own voices, though.

I've missed alot of this thread, so sorry if I bring up a few exhausted topics.



But first thing,



I really wish they stuck with Isabella's appearance from Origins, or at least didn't do something so...generic and non-unique. They just took a tan girl, and slapped a bandana on her and some pirate clothes, and threw a few piercings in there. As I watched the trailer, most of the characters stood out in some way. Isabella didn't. It's sad, cause I thought she was a babe in the first one. I'll probably explore her romance last.



Personality wise, she's a free spirit. From reading just a few pages here, are people actually complaining about her having sex alot? Or open to it or whatever? Let's go back to Origins. I'm sure before Leliana was captured, she had her fair share of midnight steam sessions, and same with Morrigan, and Zevran. Alistair was the only pure little virgin out of the whole group.



Hell, even the WARDEN wasn't a virgin, or at least, in most Origins, it's assumed he wasn't.

I'm sorry, I don't mean this in a mocking manner but I can't tell if you're joking. She looks like every standard nameless NPC, her new look gives her the "I'm a unique party member, not some random NPC". Well, at least to me.

There's also a picture of her without the Pearl's lighting and it scared a few people.

I guess I just came off wrong. But maybe just in general, when you watch a pirate movie and there is the pirate chick - they just look like Isabella? So the lack of originality? Hell, I think I'm just rambling on. I've seen like two movies focused on pirates. I think I'm just not a big pirate person.

I heard about the lighting though, regardless, I like her hairstyle and stuff in the Pearl better.


Good to know people on these boards are open to others lifestyles. YEAH!

I've said it before but, I'm absolutely stunned by the amount of controversy that Isabela has managed to spring on these forums since the Rise to Power trailer was added to the DA 2 site. Maybe I just totally msised any backlash that people had against Leliana or Zevran or the existance of the Pearl due to my lack of following Origins' development, but it has astounded me to see the sort of debates that have crept up in the last few days. I've mostly gone into lurker mode because of it all.
