I didn't know where to post it, so there it is : an Isabela fan art. I don't know if I will finish the picture so I chose to post it today. If someone wants to add colors, I would be very happy.

There shouldn't be a target there. It should be some pirate underling with an apple in his mouth, hoping that the blade doesn't continue past the apple.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet (fifty pages in four days, wow!) but I feel like mentioning that Isabela's sexual encounter and who you are with--if anyone--raises a particular flag. As in, sleeping with Alistair raises a different flag than sleeping with Leliana or with Leliana and Zevran.



I wonder if we'll get different acknowledgments, if that's the case.

they are different voice actors

I'm so glad to see Isabela and her new look is awesome, but sometimes I wonder if it would of been beteer just to make a new companion.  It's like she is Isabela but isn't, anyone see what I'm saying?

The narrative continuity is what matters.  She's still Isabela the Rivaini pirate who was at the Pearl who is a duelist and pirate who as a hedonistic outlook towards life.

And as for her personality, we'll see in game how much like the old Isabela she is, or if she references meeting the warden, etc.

That's an invalid opinion that you are not entitled to.  The writers get to choose what characters are the same and which are different, it is not a choice that is open to you.  You can prefer the original interpretation or the new one, regardless... she is the same character.  She is being played by a different actress.

That is a fair point, but given the brief glimpse of her personality we saw in The Pearl, there's a lot of room for development.

No, sorry.  I am entitled to my opinion.  They liked the concept of the Isabela character, so they "recreated" it in DA2 - with a new body, face, taste in clothes, etc.  Wolf in sheeps clothing, my friend - it don't make it a sheep.

Despite the fact your examples are a reduction to the absurd, the answer is yes.  It's their story and their characters.

It's totally unjustifiable.  You are lying to yourself if you refuse to accept it is Isabela.
