Well she did refer to her husband as a "greasy bastard", I get the feeling that her marriage was either against her will, or was for political (piratical?) reasons. Based off of that I don't think that it would be in Isabela's personality to go on and on about her husband

pirates care about politics? i think their will be some drama there.  what gets me is when she says "The siren treats me better then he ever did."  meaning he didnt treat her well.

Her husband wasn't a pirate. He was an Antivan merchant. When he died she took the ship and used it for... non-merchant-y activities.

Her husband wasn't a pirate. He was an Antivan merchant. When he died she took the ship and used it for... non-merchant-ing activities.
