ANYWAY. I hope Isabela doesn't get all wibbly delicate weepy ~I am nothing without you~ gooblob when you romance her.
I hope she does! I hope she does a complete turn-around a la Jack. Runny mascara and everything!
Jack is incredibly emotionally unstable--I could see a romance-related breakdown coming a mile away and it didn't bother me (well...the sex scene with her sobbing visibly did). Morrigan never really needed you emotionally. She showed more emotions as the romance went on, but didn't breakdown. Leliana didn't either.
I think that acting as an emotional crutch
is not definitive of the female romances (or even romances) only. Everyone has issues. Personally, I don't want to deal with their issues all the time. Part of ME2's problem is that because there are so many characters and because they
all have issues (except you, Jacob, I understand, I won't talk to you anymore about your on the M-920 Cain because you're not big on forcing chats, I get it). It gets burdening and aggravating.
Hopefully a medium is achieved between characters this time around that doesn't require me being their mental health doctor but also ensures they don't stonewall me and act like surly jerks.
