I just assumed it was a phallus-shaped vibrator.. as opposed to you know, a non-phallus shaped one.

Pallus-shaped vibrator doesn't sound like callous. It sounds like duct taped terminator, American Gladiator, Maytag Refrigerator, soy un perdedor.

inspiration for character's creation: Firefly and star wars (the originals), namely the characters Malcolm Reynolds and Han Solo.

Another possible theme song: The Joker

But phallus rhymes with callous. It's just that one word I was implying, not the whole smooth, vibrating part.

See, I'm not the only one being fussy about this!

Anyways, you have to sing it in time to the beat. He goes: "Soooy uuuun perderdor."

Hobbies: Drinking? So now she's a drunk? Cheating at cards and calling me ''kitten'' is not winning her any points. Suave she is not, Fall at her feet? I'm sure alot of people ''fall'' on her

I'm somewhat reminded of when Anders says to Nathaniel "I didn't say it was a perfect analogy.." even though we're not really talking about analogies here.

I think this one tops that one.

Eggs, butterfly, rabbit, and 'pocket rocket.' Two out of four isn't bad, you know your vibrators.

I can tell they were trying to make her a femme fatale but a femm fatale has to be Believable. She can't be a mess one moment, then a fierce lover and fighter, the next. That's not how femme fatale's work. She has to be ruthless, pretty, and dangerous, all the time. What Isabela is described as is a person with a mood disorder that happens to know how to fight.

That was about vibrators? I was just rhyming words. Now I feel uncomfortable.

No, they weren't.

Why not?  It works for men.

Good thing she isn't one.

You really seem to have an issue with Isabela, and you haven't really met her yet, except for that little encounter in the Pearl. What makes you think she's a mess at all? She might drink, but she's not a drunken slob like Oghren.

No, it's not you, it's just that after reflection of my word choices, I'm a bit red-faced.

Also, just to follow up on an older off topic point, I found the old thread with the Gaider nicknaming - here's the most amusing part:

Yes, but if I called you ProvocativePants that might make people picture you to be a crotchless set of low-riders, and nobody wants that. Would CreepyPants suffice?

Is this where I have to decide between having a nickname assigned to me by a Bioware developer and the integrity of my silly username?

Where is my convenient third option? Can I go to the Circle Tower and get out of this one?

What's wrong with an emotional rollercoaster ride? If you say a flirty comment she might take it bad, If you are aggressive she might like it. Then in the next conversation it's the opposite?

I hope she won't turn out to be the daughter of some Rivaini king or something. It's one of the first things I tend to worry about whenever a companion in an upcoming BioWare game is announced.

I wonder what Isabela looks for in a long term companion. Does she prefer someone she can ride the ocean with or a safe port to return to?

I am so ~jelly~ right now. For my birthday I want a dev nickname. I declare it must be so!
