in my opinion isabela seems to prefer to stay friends with sexual benefits. like Zev for example.

That's a good point.  Still, there's got to be some common ground.  Perhaps fun but stable? Like an amusing forum poster for instance!

If you're talking about the necklaces they all wear, it's to hide the seam between their head and bodies. All DA and ME characters have this, which is why they all wear something over their necks. Even the Mother.

At least they sort of justify it with the lore.. like the Warden pendant that Alistair gives the Warden after the Joining and what not.
