I had same problem with my Blu ray version of the game and im from the UK. I ordered from gamestation and tried to take it back but no luck. It must be just the PS3 UK edition because i heard the 360 version is fine. This royally sucks and bioware should do something to fix this problem. They said it doesnt affect the platinum trophy is this true>?

I got mine from Amazon.co.uk and I don't really want to go through the trouble of emailing Amazon.co.uk just to return the games.

Yes, the platinum is obtained through the main game, not inclusive of expansions or DLC. Still annoying though :(

Also, I'm sure Bioware ARE doing something to fix the problem, or at least investigating :)

I'm not from England but I bought my ultimate edition from Amazon.co.uk and yes, I've suffered the same fate, no RTO. I really hope that EA finds some convenient way to solve this. Hate the idea that I'd had to send this version back to UK just to get a new one which might or might not work :/

Edit: I have also had problem with registering the game here in Bioware forums. I enter the registeration code but message keeps saying "Code not valid for game"  Anyone else had this problem ?

I contacted EA support and this is the response I got on their 'chat' support:

" I need to refer your issue to our senior level , they will get in touch with you via email with in 24 hrs."

I'll post if they do email me. Finger crossed.

I'm having the same problem registering the game on the site. I'm unsure which code to enter!

The most elegant solution would just be to e-mail codes for RTO, since it's clearly a disc manufacturing error. Fingers crossed :)

Just a heads-up on where this is at...

I believe that we will be able to resolve this server side!  Once fixed, it will mean having to download a version of RTO from the PSN Store (for free).

Unfortunately with hitting the weekend it has been slow to get this setup as it needs to travel across many desks and timezones - my apologies.

I hope to have instructions soon, and we'll post a more official news item as well once that is confirmed.

My apologies on this error having made it on to the euro PS3 disc.

Re: game registration here on social

It appears we may not have received all the UPC codes from the publishing side - we've also requested this, it'll likely be early next week that this will be live on social.

Thanks so much for keeping us up to date Fernando :) look forward to getting the solution.

I bet someone, somewhere is reading this and thinking "Whoooops!"

I'm a Dragon Age newbie, bought Ultimate Edition since it represented great value. Where abouts in the game does Ostagar occur?

Thanks again for your response :)

Thanks Fernando, free download from PSN sounds like the best solution. I'm also glad to know that I wasn't being just stupid when I couldn't register the game here on social :P

Thanks Fernando. Im glad the issue can be solved server side aswell. How are you going to verify which PSN accounts can download RTO for free? I take it if we register our UE on the social when that gets fixed then we get the free DLC? Thanks again

That's good to hear. So I was right, the problem only occurs on the UK versions?

Shadelon your actually saying you were right? You started off saying techo was the prob one of a few who had a bodged up disc and that it was just him as no one had commented it. Yanks. luckily im PC for the UE so im not getting this issue. Feel sorry for you guys though. Kinda sucks.

Havnt got PS3 hooked up to internet so how do the PSN codes help people who dont have it and bought the game because they didnt actually have the means to download the DLC, maybe allow odwnloading onto a memory stick from a PC to PS3? either that or send us copies of game with the said RTO included!

I'm sure the people that don't have internet will have the issue solved somehow.

could you not just temperely move you ps3 next to you router and connect the two with an ethernet cable? download you stuff and then then move ps3 back.

I've posted a more official message here, but anyone with this issue (Return to Ostagar DLC missing in EU version of Ultimate Edition) should contact your local EA support - they will be able to add this to your account.

First, please verify that your PSN Name is correct at the http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php page.  Then contact EA support, and once EA support has added RTO DLC to your account, you will be able to see it appear on that page as well  as a 'more info' link.

Follow the pdf instructions from the 'more info' link to download RTO from the PSN Store for free.  Essentially this will instruct you to go to the Downloadable Content option from the main menu.  RTO should be listed as 'purchased' and you will be able to manually download it.

You will need to verify ownership of the UE so have this handy when you call/chat.  If you have any issues please PM me.

For folks who have their PS3 offline, we're still trying to figure out an alternate solution but at this time I'm not sure we can (in any reasonable timeframe).  Unfortunately this one falls into almost a patch-like category - there is not an easy option here other than going online.  But stay tuned, once the various teams are back in the office we may be able to find a solution.

F.

I really don't mind waiting for another option as long as it gets sorted out and I have sent a email EA Support UK on the day that I encountered this problem although I have probably got a long wait from them, it was the only way I could do it as I work shift hours
