RTO is not included on my UE disk

We should have a friendly competition about who is the first one to get that free RTO dlc :) I find it most unlikely that Amazon.co.uk (where I bought my copy) would give me my money back since the product has been used now and it's not really their fault but EA's, I'll try to call EA support Wednesday when I have the time, I'll inform you how it went.

Still, if anyone (Fernando, I'm, looking at you) in the upper stairs is reading this, please, do what ever you can to solve this problem.

I've actually played RTO in PC so I'm not missing that much as an experience but still... I paid to have every DLC. I'm definitely not going to buy it... that's for sure. Most frustrating, this problem is...

Its not worth paying twice for. Iv played dragon age since release on the xbox but when i traded my xbox for a ps3 could'ent resist the UE and the chance to run through DA again. Love the game but starting to feel sorry for bioware its not really been there year regarding DA.

I got into contact with them again today via their live chat. The persons name was the same one as on Thursday so I'm presuming it was the same person. I'd updated my question on Friday explaining exactly what the problem was but still hadn't received a response apart from one asking me to fill in a survey, yeah lol I know.



Anyways on todays conversation the guy still wasn't aware of the problem & all I got from him was the standard "I need to refer your issue to our senior level, they will get in touch with you via email with in 24 hrs." 3 Minutes later again I receive the response of "I can understand your concern and I do apologies for the difficulties that you are experiencing with the game. However, due to the nature of your issue, more time is required for investigation. etc etc"



That is the only response I've received so far from them, it's really poor service. I don't want to phone them as it costs money & if what techno-chicken has posted is anything to go by then I'd say their phone support is even worse.



Also I noted that both my BLES number & UPC code are the same as what CKemu posted on his thread, should that be right, I'd have thought they'd be different?

They should be both the same. The bles number is basically a catalogue number for a playstation game and the UPC number is just eh barcode. They will all be the same so dont worry bout. Its a shame we actually cant register the dam UPC code...:P
They bioware need another word with EA about the DLC problem as ea clearly dont know their ass hole from their earhole.

I don't know really what to say next to EA Support UK on email just to get them to help me I could always repeat what I said in the last email but I can't get it through to them

they really need to sort this out. Its not fair that because of an error so many PS3 owners are missing out. Especially if you dont have internet connection to PS3 like myself. Another option could be to buy the damn US verison since PS3 is region free, but thats not really an answer since that would mean paying up twice as much. I love Dragon Age, its an amazing RPG but i am totally annoyed by the treatment for EA. They should re-call the copies in the shops and fix the problem for us.Maybe send out copies with RTO included for us?

well considering the release of the UE the dlc on the psn has fallen in value to like £1. They should just post a generic code on the forums for people to get RTO. Its not worth much now anymore because of the UE release. And for non internet ps3s. Bioware should send out a file to either the social or email address that you could put onto a usb drive then put that into the ps3 and your away...

Seriously BIOWARE, TALK to EA! They are not solving the problem like you said they would. They customer assisstants dont even seem to be aware. People are starting to lose patience. Replace our ****ing blurays. The dlc on the psn wont sell now because of the saving gained from the UE. So you might as well put it all for free anyway. Well except RTO. You might make some money of that as people are proberly going to be forced to buy it. Sick of this.

I totally agree, this problem should never had happened. EA hasnt answered my emails about the subject, which is annoying. All we want is this problem solved, for non internet and for internet users. Just replace our Blurays or send the code via email, surely that would please a lot of people. I didnt buy the game for this.....

Just a heads up. EA UK support sent a redemption code for Return to Ostagar and I can confirm it worked. It took 2 e-mails but the second guy knew of the problem and sent the code. Wish you all luck.

Well hopefully i can actually get somewhere with them now instead of having the same converstation over and over.
They didnt even reply to my last email so i think i'll try again. I'll post on here to let u guys know if i had any luck

Fernando im gonna PM you tomorrow if/when i get an email back from ea that doesnt resolve the issue. I cant afford another long ass phone call that problery cost me twice the ammount of downloading the dlc on the psn. Sorry but i cant trust EA to get this done.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I used http://support.elect....co.uk/app/home then asked a question after signing in. The first reply took around 9 hours and asked for my psn id, e-mail address linked to psn id, EA account e-mail adress, date of birth and post code (though I don't think this guy knew of the issue). I then updated the question and linked them to Fernando's other post (http://social.biowar...8/index/5138725), where he explains what has happened (because they seemed unaware of any issue), and included the information they asked for (just incase they did need it). The reply took about 28 hours but it included a code to redeem Return to Ostagar for free as well as details on how to do so.

finally got sent my code!! For starters use the ea support uk question page. I know we were told to phone, but trust me email them. If you ring you will be put on hold for agesssss and they might not even know what your talking about.

In the question be as thorough as you can (so a 5 year old could understand). Also include your psn id, the email adress you used for the social and the email you used for your psn (they should both be the same).

Now the important bit. Fernando made a thread about the problem on the forum. Think its the first one...anyway make a link to that thread so that they can see with their own eyes if they STILL dont understand.

When you get your code be aware thats its an ea code and not a psn code, which means on the main menu go to the dlc bit, hit triangle and that will take you to a code input screen. Put the code you just got there in and if everythings worked RTO should come up as 'purchased' on the dlc menu. X button on RTO and it will take you to the ps store where you can download it for free.
