the only reasons i can think of is proof that you have it and registering a game lets you post in certain forums.

Fernando. Can you please let us know if the download is going to be the only option and the people without internet will have to go without or are they working on another way? Im quite patient and can wait.Theres more than one psn id and ps3 being used in my home and dont like the idea of rto being locked to one account. Cheers for the updates by the way

Looks like i might have to pm you tomorrow fernando as i still havent had any reply from either my email last night or this morning from ea. i have given them all the same info as colour me blind and techno-chicken but not looking like getting sorted anytime soon.

I haven't heard from EA Europe about a re-print, but even if they go ahead with it that will take weeks (likely new year).  I mentioned it in a couple other posts but sadly, given the nature of this issue, we're basically looking at something akin to a critical bug that would require a patch to fix - there just is not another way to deliver a fix (the content) in any reasonable timeframe.  So the download is the only option.

However, I will definitely communicate out if we hear that a re-print is being done and rough date.

Emailed EA from the UK website late last night and got my code back this evening no messing around defo the best way to get it sorted for now. But it would be much better if they relese a update to fix the issue

glad people are starting to get their content, slowly but surely. It sucks for non internet ps3s though. EA cant just ignore the problem and hope it goes away. They need to bite the bullet and ship out a bluray or a usb stick to those who need them. Its only fair. Otherwise someone might sue their ass for false advertising.

I've just been sent a promo code, and well within 24 hours, so all is good here. I used the online form at support.ea.com, and I've both been contacted by mail and via the answer system at that site.

Got my RTO, no thanks to EA though. Fernando did I grate job when I asked him for help. 15 minutes and BANG, there it was, the notorious Return to Ostagar ready to be played :)

Glad you got it kck_. I played the dlc today and it was finished in 30 mins. :( you do get a cool armour set and sword out of it though. I did it at a low level as soon as it was possible so im pumping points insto strength so i can wear the armour :P Hope everyone else is getting it sorted

Yep downloaded it today with the code the EA support site emailed me jobs a good one not played it yet tho as totally addicted to awakening don't want to stop playing it lol but its on my to do list

I know what to expect from this dlc since I have already played it on PC. I just wanted because I paid for it and it's still a good dlc. Hope everyone will eventually get their own :)

EA were fantastic about this! Emailed them yesterday afternoon then went to work. Got home afew hours later and checked my emails on the off-chance.. Turns out they had got back to me with a working code in just over 2 hours..

Seriously unhappy about this. Don't you have the most basic QA? A download code is simply not good enough. There's a reason I bought the disc version. I'll give it a couple more days to see if there's a better response but I'm returning the game. This is a fraud if replacement discs are not made, simple as that. "Also includes All 7 Downloadable Content Packs"? Er, no. There are laws against this I think you'll find.

Just to know, i purchased the UK version of Dragon Age Ultimate Edition. I am from Italy, do I have to contact EA UK support or the italian one to get the code to download RTO? Thanks ;)

contact uk support. Use their website and not the phone. I left a kinda guide a few posts back on what to do. It should help.

I've tried to contact EA support but it's impossible because their support site wants to install some Windows specific web player and I'm using Linux so it obviously won't work. I've tried to dig out their e-mail to contact them the normal way but no luck.



Fernando, I've tried to send you a PM but there is no submit button (maybe it's outside the window but the window can't be scaled). Could you please take care of this or at least PM me EA's e-mail address so I can contact them?



I've registered the game on this site and my PS3 is online so a download code would be just fine.

I wanted it all on the disc aswell. Im ADD like that. Just like you thats why I brought it. Theres not much you can do though. Either Get a refund and wait for the next batch of discs to pressed which will be likely next year, or take the code. Everyone is in the same boat. Yeah it took a while for EA to pull their fingers out their arses but at least people got codes. And at least you have an internet connection. Some people dont even have that so they have to take it back

I'm also pretty pissed with this.

I don't have my PS3 hooked up to the internet so I was pretty pleased when the Ultimate Edition was announced since I could buy all the DLC without having to download anything. I don't know how the hell the discs could go into production with such a major blunder.

EA needs to replace all the affected discs (doesn't the US version of the game work on european PS3's or is the game region-locked?). Making the RTO DLC available through a download isn't what people paid for and in my case is pretty useless since I don't have any easy way to connect my PS3 (I use a mobile connection to go online with my laptop).

The only way for me to get this working would be by downloading a file to my laptop and then transferring it to my PS3.

ALL PS3 games are region free, so yes you can use the US version on a UK console.
