Oh please. Every time people start crying about the space gypsies, it makes me want to headshot what's-her-face in the Suicide Mission again.

Awww poor quarian people, maybe you should have not made an AI in the first place. Oh but you did? Well you get what you deserve. I couldn't care less about them.

The coucil screwed the quarian people, it could have easily helped take back their planet from them. The quarians must show the council how angry they are by attacking the citadel

I think that would be a little drastic unless led by a renegade Shepard.

the fleeet could show up blast the presiuim cent ring and then be gone just as soon, only reason geth didnt destroy council out right was because that wasnt the plan they needed the council chamber in place in order to turn on the mass relay in the citadel

the quarians would be slaughter with maybe a few damage ships on the council's side, they are terrible at almost everything they do, they can't make cheap laborers, they can't take their homeworld back, they can't go to on their pilgrimage without people taking advantage of them, they can't lead an expedition without having half of them die, so no they would not be able to take on a multiracial fleet defending one of the most important place in council space

Well, I think it was wrong of the Council to pretty much deny the quarians anything just because they did something that didn't affect anyone in Citadel space at the time.

I can't say the council doesn't have it coming to them but there are a lot of innocent people on the citadel itself.

You have to understand, the reason that the Council didn't step in to help the Quarians, and the reason it told them to gtfo, was that the Council isn't a charity for races like the Quarians... it's a charity for the Salarians and Asari. Everything the council does is based around securing the economic and political dominance of those two races, and making sure that there are other races around with strong enough militaries to throw under the bus in case of war. Notice that as soon as the humans show up the Batarians start getting short shrift from the council? It's because the humans have a stronger military, the Batarians aren't as useful to the Salarians and Asari.

Also this is why a Council-Supporting Paragon is kind of a tool.

And yet a Human led Council was no better than one led by the Asari, Salarian, and Turian races.

Actually the Council would have been affected if they had got involved in the Quarians affairs. Accident or not, the Quarians created an Army of Hostile A.I. Although it's rather callous, I can't say the Quarians didn't deserve being stripped of their embassy.

The Council? Yes, they abandoned the Quarians. Much like they abandoned Humanity when the Collectors were hitting our colonies.

Why are we associated with the Council again?

While I agree, I also want to make sure your facts are straight.

Council had no business protecting human colonies in the Terminous systems. Neither did the Alliance. Those colonies were independant states that chose to leave Citadel space to be free.

Council abandoned human colonies in ME1 when the Geth attacked.

Quarians effectivley created a new species, then tried to murder said species, got their arses kicked. Then they tried to steal a planet under the nose of the council after they lost their own, and now they are running around the galaxy scavenging anything in their path while feeling sorry for themselves. Yeah. Suit yourselves.

okay...the geth raided one colony.

What exactly do you expect from the council? ...a full fledged invasion of the Perseus veil?

True. But you would think that either one of those factions would like to know why entire colonies of people just start vanishing.

At least the STG was looking into it. Then again it seems like the Salarians have their hands(?) on everything, so that's to be expected.

You forget Feros, and Liaras dig site planet, and the geth incursion outposts.

Agreed. The modifications the Quarians made to the Geth led them to AI status and obviously they retaliated when the Quarians attempted to deactivate them.

No. They don't. The Specter does that on their own. The Council just claims the credit.

It sucks but I agree. The Quarians were going to exterminate the Geth. The Quarians got what they deserved.

Indeed.
The geth had the right to kill every single innocent man, woman and child they saw just because of the actions of some scientists.
And those scientists! What evil bastards!
Accidently creating AIs than trying to shut them down before they got out of hand.
How dare they!?

"Shutting down" the Geth is the same as killing a Quarian. And the Quarian scientist were going to "Shut Down" (Kill) every innocent Geth because they MAY have got out of hand. The Geth did the same thing that the Quarians were going to do. The Geth just succeeded where the Quarians had failed.
Incase you hadn't noticed that argument you just made works both ways.
