which I think says it all. Chicks don't want to look sexy in a chainmail pair of underwear. They just do, they can't help it.

Not much we can do to fix that.

Except not make chainmail underwear?

I guess Dragon Age has got that one covered then, ya? No problems.

I'm loving how everyone ignored my examples. Meeeh.

I'm going to bed, enough bikinis, boobs, butts and that kind of things for today.

Another yea or nay. :) (Can't say no it's Xena!)

Actually, the leather armors look much like Zena's brass brazier.

Yes and yes.  Preferably together.

Oh, you mean the outfits?  Eh...  Xena's seems to be more coherent.  Why an exposed midriff on the other at all?  Needless.

Don't care. You have as much reason to believe me as anyone else.

Well, I've always felt that arrogance only serves to undermine an argument, so perhaps not. :innocent:

Arrogance?

What arrogance?

You know I was joking in my response to your question, right? There is absolutely no reason why Saibh should have to produce evidence and I don't. Anyways, we moved that talk into messages since we were off topic in either case.

For the Xena armor, I'd cover to the neck instead of leaving the top part of the chest exposed. The other girl should be a redshirt that dies before the game begins.

I guess I just couldn't help picturing "this is actually historically inaccurate" being said in a pompous voice.

Also, you were wearing a blazer and a monocle.

We could settle historical debates with a time machine.  Somebody build one. :wizard:

Fair enough...

Though I am wearing a blazer and a monocle... it's kind of weird that you knew that.

But you gotta admit... you can't really cite a book on the internet and have anyone take it seriously... and websites are terrible citations in either case. Really, my first mistake was to have an academic discussion on a forum =/

Of course good sir.

I loved her armor, and I think she looks really good.
But then again, I really love Cirith's outfit, from the very same game:

Which brings me to the point...not every female in DA2 is going to look like Isabela.

Also, I don't think Isabela NEEDS pants. Seriously.

Do you want the poetic answer or the clinical answer?

Parts of the armor look nice but there is way to much skin for that to be viable as a full set of heavy armor

Was my thought, too. Wonder if this had been inspiration behind it...

Why leave her thighs exposed like that? What is the point? Why don't men do the same? I do have problems with armor like that, because it only exists to sexualize her with no thought towards practicality. Honestly, do you need the eye-candy?

As I said earlier, the issue here is I, and some others, would prefer for men and women to be treated equally in this regard. It's not that hard. DAO did fine without it.

Morrigan's "shirt" would have disagreed completely.  Had it been more than just some skimpy rags.  Or if it was a conscious being and not just a small collection of fabric.

A skirt of metal plates could be used. Form-fitting thigh plates could also be used.
