is what I expected rouges would be wearing. Since she is a pirate captain, I was expecting more of a captain attire. Something that would get her respect.

She's a pirate captain, not a military officer. A pirate captain would be respected through skill in battle and success in making them rich, not what they wore.

Respects not that important when you can slit people's throats when they give you lip.

Yeah... - Especially in hand-to-hand combat.

No, through big hats. Her hat isn't big enough.
I'm just afraid that she's going to run around and her buttflap thing is going to go flying out and I get to see Isabela's ass all day. Or that every time she attacks in battle, there it goes. We saw Isabela fighting for like, five seconds on the trailer and we got flashed in several different scenes.

Basically when your out on the ocean; whether in combat or not being able to manuever quickly and easily is better than being a human tank. That and probably salt rusting it and whatever technical stuff I'm not thinking of.
But basically yeah; being a pirate means she probably wouldn't wear armor at all. At least not for sea combat which is probably where she spent most of her time prior to DAII.

You wouldn't be complaining if a sexy pancho waring bowslinger had his pancho flapping and revealing his abs all the time.
Yeah, I would. Regardless, the male-vs-female sexuality debate is going to derail the topic quickly.

Not an expert here but if I remember correctly pirates and various sea-going people actually don't wear armor for the most part because its cumbersume and slows them down too much, protective features aside.

Not to mention in Deadliest Warrior the Pirate kicked the Knight's butt.

I hate that show with a burning passion. They just pick the most popular one and have them win.
Also, Isabela isn't wearing any armor at all--she's wearing clothes. Well, a shirt and shoes. No pants. There's no real reason for her not to want to put on pants. I mean, it can get pretty nippy at sea. Even tiny pants, I don't care. I just don't want to see her ass every other second.
Eh, if we can change her clothes, I suppose I shouldn't complain.

Agreed, then don't start it Saibh.

That's because he had a gun, unless Isabela stole Qunari Tech, I doubt well be seeing it.
