Cilian Murphy was as naked as a jaybird. I sure remember noticing at the time. *cough*
I certainly don't remember that...
How strange. Perhaps I repress memories of seeing dongs or something.

To be honest that scene was more startling the rest of the movie

Maybe it's because you're a guy?
<--- not a guy (also has a minor crush on Cilian Murphy)

These are not the dongs you're looking for * waves hand
But seriously we need to get back on topic.

That would make sense... though honestly I don't remember many nude scenes featuring female actors either. I guess nudity just doesn't impress me.

I'm mostly kidding - as someone who's taken life drawing classes, etc. nudity itself isn't particularly memorable. I'm just a film fan with a penchant for zombie movies and a pretty good memory (unless we're talking about something from over 20 years ago, then I might be hazy on a particular film if I haven't seen it repeatedly over the years).
The part about the minor crush on Cilian Murphy is true though - hehe.

But, but, but it was totally just because I have excellent recall and not because I was objectifying him or anything. Darn it, it's too late to take that confession back - ya got me!
EDIT: And yeah, we were all just poking fun at that earlier discussion.

So we were told that chainmail bikins were never going to be included in DA2, understandable. But what's with having Isabela wear an outfit so short that we can see butt every time she jumps? Or is this the current fad? Side boobs for 2009 and butts for 2011.
We were never against having sexy outfits. What we were trying to do is not have everything be sexy and revealing, even when it didn't make any sense. Our heavy armor is still heavy even on female characters (you can see this in the Lady Hawke armor, for instance) and even for non-armor outfits there are still more modest versions, depending on the character in question.

Well on the topic of the armor vs. no armor thing - I can understand the need for freedom of movement when it comes to martial arts like karate, kung fu, or judo. Practitioners of those martial arts usually seem to favor fairly loose-fitting clothing. Sumo is certainly a good example of extremely minimal clothing.
The wrestlers only wearing mawashi (loincloths). Origins of the sport aside, I think that on a practical level, only wearing a mawashi means your opponent has a lot less to grab onto than if a wrestler were hypothetically wearing more clothing. I've watched a lot of sumo over the years because Hawaii is the home state of two yokozuna (Akebono & Mushashimaru), one ozeki (Konishiki) and a sekiwake (Takamiyama - he was also the first foreign-born stablemaster, and Akebono was actually from his stable).
Oops, local sumo history lesson over! Anyhow, I think Isabela might dress that way partially for the freedom of movement her outfit allows, and err, maybe because it's fashionable and/or sexy for Rivaini pirates? Besides, if you compare her outfit to what a sumo wrestler wears in the ring, I think it's safe to say she's covering up a whole lot more flesh than any of them do. Also: I want her boots (not that I ever wear shorts, but hey, they'd be great to look at and/or display).
Thanks btw, SF. *wink wink nudge nudge*

Considering she IS a pirate I dont' think a bunch of cloth and or armor bits are going to help her swim or float very well. So thong = practical at sea.
See I can totally be serious.ShrinkingFish wrote...

Never thought of that one either. Good call.
