And that's sad if that's the average length of a game now. I guess there are a lot of players that don't realize how badly they are getting ripped with the current games....especially the cinematic junk that has very little game in it. I think the devs are more interested in trying to be authors or film directors than trying to develop an actual game. It's an insult as well with them ripping most of the decision making process out of games now...but I guess that the trend audience they now aim for.
There we are! In bold, the crux of the issue. Lots of cinematics mean lots of story. If you would rather see less story and more chosing equipment and managing potions and reading chat trees, then yes, every major release these days is going to disapoint you. I'm sorry for you, but you have to understand most people want a story their character is part of. And movies are fantastic ways to tell a story.
Story. Story. Story.
