But even in those cases, is it too much to ask for someone to post "we are looking into it" which would take 5 seconds at most? It's rude, and it's bad marketing; both Hindsight and Parthalan are the first two tangible bits of Dragon Age 2 that have been released to the public, in a way. If they can't even handle addressing issues with handing out free items in a timely manner, what kind of precedent does that set for their customer service when the actual game is released? What does that say to new players who have been introduced to the game through the promos that offer these two free items?
Agreed. Some comment would go a long way toward reassuring fans, and they ought to say something if they can. I have to admit, however, that as a trend in gaming, I am not very enthusiastic about this type of promotion in general. But I do agree that Bioware should show their fans that they are willing to do it properly.
