 I made a female Elf warrior and was wondering if the following ending is possible.

I want to be in a romance with Alistair, but I also want him to be king and not ditch me.
Then I want to refuse the ritual and sacrifice myself without making him a crybaby for the rest of his days, is this possible?

Also sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm unfamiliar with what topics go where

That's exactly what he will do. That's why you have to leave him behind

Also note it might dampen your romantic scenario if you don't harden his personality (via his personal quest). If he's not hardened, he'll effectively break up with you after the Landsmeet since Ferelden would never accept a non-human queen (though you could just say he only does it out of duty and still totally luuuurves you). If hardened, however, you can convince him to keep you on as his bit on the side, even if he's agreed to marry Anora as well (even Anora won't object to you being his mistress if you're honest and up-front about it before the landsmeet).

That's exactly what he will do. That's why you have to leave him behind

If you're on the PC, there's a mod you can load to let you interrupt him from making the choice, but yes, if you romance Alistair and take him to the roof, he'll ignore you and charge the archdemon so you don't die. Though on the down side, if you don't take Morrigan's offer, you or Alistair will die.
