I've been following this auction, and it's actually funny as hell. You guys are just feeding the troll.

"JUST LIKE GOOD OL' ERIK212 USED TO SAY, "If you're going to buy lithographs, buy them from Durangofett! His customer service is like a sociopaths!"
I don't know what that means, but he is another satisfied customer, no doubt!"

wow away a day and incomes a troll. I really don't have anything against ebay sellers, just the way it is and there really isn't much one can do, but coming here to just be an ass is just plain sad. I feel more sorry for the person than anything else.

Dang it. Treehouse froze on me during the first window of opportunity, and then my internet broke down half an hour before the second window, only coming back on today. I guess I'll just roll with the individuals later in the month. I'm certainly not paying several times the price on ebay for something I can buy in a couple weeks. Jedi, any clue as to when the individuals go on sale?

I believe the timeframe was mid-November, they will be probably be up well before Thanksgiving so that they can get them out before the holidays.

Ok, a couple of things.

1 - Durandofett did NOTHING wrong. If you choose to buy a lithograph or some lithographs, frame them and put them on your wall, great, we hope you enjoy looking at them. If you choose to try to resell them immediately or later down the road hoping to make a profit, great. Heck, if you choose to buy them, get them home and tear them up as hampster cage filler, that's up to you (I think this is a terrible waste of some excellent art, but they belong to you once you buy them). There are limits on items placed by the store, but what customers do with their items (as long as it is not illegal) is just fine.

2 - I had a bunch of complaints from people that Durangofett was trolling the thread. Well, the reason he/she was is the abuse he/she took from the other posters here for doing nothing wrong. Yes, maybe he/she took a little too much pleasure in your all 's discomfort in how they were reselling their lithos, but your name calling and accusations we uncalled for.

So to Durangofett and all the other people involved in this with them, behave yourselves.

This is a good balanced perspective and well said.  Even if there were no ebay sellers, it still ultimately boils down to simple math.  You have thousands and thousands of litho fans, an importantly this amount will continually grow, and also an x-amount of available lithos.  Obviously not everyone will get one.  I think that was a good  decision and compromise to do a limit per customer on the initial litho pre-order release.

In the spirit of "good game", I have removed any "smart-alec" jokes from my auction, but tough luck on one thing. My name is stardazzledilikeicehockeylegendaryhawkmybuddies for 30 days. :P

Peace :wizard:

I hate to be the one to do this but...

YOU, Chris, were there when people were sad about missing the lithos (and some also were unjust). Coming here in this situation - the anger was still boiling - is like presenting a red cloth to a mad bull. He/she was mocking the whole forum in his/her auction that only started minutes after the damage was done. (Yes, I call it damage. Because many, many, many users were sad - sad for maybe only a few minutes, but sad at this very moment.) And by coming here and admitting that an auction belonged to him/her - an auction that brought pain to many - is immoral and provoking and asks for actions. Selling a pack while other are still sad about missing it... it's comparable to selling the belongings of a person whose funeral still is in action.

If he/she wanted to sell the pack, then he/she could have stayed down and just sold it. And silently laugh to him/herself about his/her auction already being discussed on the forums.

I won't stay down here. I don't care about a ban. The whole thing just makes me sad, because you're not even willing to understand the feelings involved.

Disclaimer: please be aware of the fact that I was able to place an order the first time around. So I did not miss the pack. Some others could say now: why are you angry? Because I feel for the people who desperately wanted a pack and weren't successful. Compassion is an emotion that I still know.

Regards,
SD

The key to remember is that you need to take responsibility for your own actions. You chose to let yourself get goaded by him, and so did the others. Don't feed the troll isn't just an empty phrase.

How about we learn from ticketmaster.ca and start a timer where your order gets put back in stock after 5 minutes if you don't continue to finish your order.... just sayin. Trying to submit the same order 15 times only to find that they magically disappeared minutes after you placed your order is pretty infuriating

I don't think the store is anywhere near popular enough to demand that kind of system. The second sale didn't have any problems.
