this proves that even though mass effect 2 came out in january it will still win GOTY awards...i expect it to win x-pays GOTY award also. and planet xbox360 scince it was their first game they gave a perfect 10...

I was venting my frustration after getting screwed out of the new character lithos due to a stupid friggin' error at the last stage of payment after staying up until 6am to purposefully get the things after working two 10 hour days in a row.

I'm also sick of certain mods here constantly closing any thread that has anything negative about ME2 in it, yet allowing many filled with mindless praise.

I can't believe voters have selected ME2 over DAO for the best RPG. and ME2 becomes the "Ultimate game".... well that is something unexpected !!!!!

Yes very much deserved, I hope the trophy case at Bioware Headquarters is ready because I think they will be raking in GOTY awards from here until January. Or at least they deserve to.

Plenty of ME 2 bashing in those threads, surprise, surprise, they aren't locked. The threads that have been getting locked are threads that set out to bash ME 2 without presenting anything new and threads like the original version of this one where people seem to make it their mission in life to turn every single thread where there's a hint of ****ing praise thrown in the direction of ME 2 into yet another complaint thread. There is a time and place for that, no need to to try to turn EVERY thread on the forum into the same circular argument you've been having since before the game was even released.

You DO realize that there are just as many praise ME2 threads where constant ME2 haters would have to hijack or they will die and then turn it into another complaint thread which then gets shut down? I've seen it countless times.

But dude really, It's a friggin video game. If it doesn't please you then its simply too damn bad.  Spending the majority of your life since the games release bashing it isn't going to improve the next game nor will it change anything or make you happier. 

See a psychiatrist if its affecting you THAT much.

OMG WILL ALL YOU HATERS JUST SHUT IT!!!!!! wether the game dissapointed you or not its becuz of mass effect 2 that bioware is finally hitting mainstream succes and finnaly getting the respect they deserve......



i say its about dang time...after years of bioware coming in second ( ME1 loses to bioshock, dragon age loses to modern warfare 2, bioware loses to valve at escapist march madness 2010. AND SOMEHOW IN SOME WAY loses comes second to turbine on espaist march madness 2008) bioware FINALLY is voted BY USERS as the game of the year. im happy for bioware and so should the rest of you. wether or not you like mass effect 2 at least be proud that bioware is getting some respect..



in the meen time i say SUCK IT INFINITY WARD, only REAL developers get game of the year

ME2 deserves the best game ever, of all time, award. It's definitly a modern classic already, there are few games where everything just flows so well together.

It definitly shows just how well ME2 has been received, considering it was released on only 2 plattforms and still managed to win the vote vs the MW2 juggernaut.
