How do you perceive people reacting in regards to Isabela?

it depends, i've seen alot of complaints about her face, wearing no pants, and her attire. i personally like her but curious if it is like this when DAO was released

When Morrigan was first shown, people commented on her face and attire. When Leliana was first shown, she was in Chantry robes and covered in blood spray. That's what people focused on.

The problem, I think, is that many of us saw her in DAO . . . and realize, this isn't the same person . . .
Maybe because You could've easily made you're warden look exactly like her orignal appearence?

Personally I like the update, mega faced sea hag isabella was rather 'ughh'. But my warden did her regardless because he was a ****.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here . . .I could have made my warden look like the Isabela from DAO? What's that got to do with anything?

I wouldn't say that.
I think we can all agree she looks nothing like DAO Isabela . . . .

I'm saying that in DAO she was very Generic looking in Origins as befitting her minor role. As she plays a more notable part in Dragon Age 2, or not if people don't use her, it's fitting she gains a new unique model. It doesn't mean it's not the same person. That's riddiculous

I'll agree completely on the first part - she was a minor character, and she looked generic.
I''ll even agree that, with a beefed up role in DA2, an upgrade was in order.
But I'm sorry - the two look NOTHING alike. An upgrade to me would have been, more detail in her face, new hair, plus whatever details get tweaked with the new graphic generator (or whatever it is).
Chinaging hair color, skin tone, giving her multiple piercings she didn't have, and having her put on a bunch of pounds - oh, and completely change her style of dress - that's not a makeover, that's a new character.
Should have just called her Shiela or something, and not Isabela.

Just pretend she always looked like that, I'm already doing it.
Woot for forced glibness!!

Ok in the Light of the Pearl, she does look a bit different.
Also There was little to no variation in body type, hence the extra pounds. Piercings: again how many piercing options did Origin's have? I would've given one of my Wardens a Labret if I could've

If I had the PC version at this very moment I'd be updating her with the toolset to look more like her DA2 counterpart.
I dont see what everyones gripes are about (not referring to anyone in this thread) She looks better, and not just in a Hawt sense. Old Isabella just looked like a nasty failed Marjolaine clone.

Call it the lighting in the Pearl if you like - none of my companions ever look different in there than they do outside.
And the fact that there was little variation in body type in DAO, and there is that option in DA2, is no reason to take an EXISTING character, toss her entirely, and create something new. Same with the piercings - I'm not commenting on whether they should be there, that's an individual choice, but they took a character with none, and gave her - not just earings, but a labret piercing.
The new Isabela bears no resemblance to the old one - and to say it's the same character, well, as someone just said, hooray for forced glibness.

She didnt get extra pounds per say. She's just more curvaceous and exotic looking, which should've been her in the first place.

Okay, not extra pounds, but bigger boobs, bigger hips, a more curvaceous look all around. Oh, and more exotic looking, since she was too bland before.
Hey, I'm not saying people can't or shouldn't like how she looks now. Just stop trying to say that they didn't create a whole new character when they did.

Ahem, "someone"?
I am a biotic GAWDDD
It really isnt a big deal, just look at Johnny in Vanilla GTA4 compared to the Lost and Damned, in Vanilla he was taller than Niko but in TLAD he's this short little pitbull. But she wasnt a major character in Origins, its not like they're taking Morrigan and turning her into Lightning from FF13.
Just roll with it, theirs nothing that can be done about it.
EDIT: which is what I said, they should've just made her a new char. But whatever, it doesnt bother me. Cause like I said, I like the update.
