 I was just wondering how will everybody  feel about romancing an Templar

I don't want Cassandra to be a romance option because she's really ugly ( i don't like her character design, please Bioware change her hairstyle and color) and a chantry member on top of that.

She's not a Templar per say. She's a seeker which has been likened to Chantry internal affairs. So she's a cross between a military policeman and an inquisitor.



As to her being a romance... well it might not happen. As we don't know whether the plot takes place in the present for a substantial period of time Hawke and Cassandra might never meet let alone make kissy faces.



Aside from that I don't have any other problems although undoubtedly will.

Considering the fact she's enquring about hawke and his exploits would be pretty obvious they never had much going, i mean, why enquire about someones story if you had traveled with them or got in their pants?

I'd guess we'll eventually catch up with the present, and Hawke and Cassandra will meet.  Whether it's sufficiently early in the game to have a decent romance is more doubtful however.

It really depends on how long the frame narrative lasts. If the framing story takes us to the end of the game, then Cassandra and Hawke will have just met (I assume, anyway). That doesn't leave much time for romance.

I agree that they must meet each other in early to mid stages of the game if theres a chance of romance but didn't Bioware wrote in DA 2 official site (FAQ) that there will be romanceable npc's throughout the world as well.

When the first concept art of her came out, I thought for sure that I'd romance her. But, as it turns out, we may not meet her until the end of the game if at all.

But that templar's wife - Aveline or what her name is, she's likely a love interest.

You mean Alistar? I hear he was quite a popular romance and the rose he gave me was very sweet.

If you mean Cassandra, does she give you a rose?

Also, if something eludes everyone but you, it can't be called common sense.

sorry but Cassandra has the dark look like Morrigan but with gray hair, so if she is the other female, i will defiantly be romancing Isabela.

That's right, folks. We know what's really important here on the Bioware forums. 
God forbid we should romance someone who holds strong personal convictions and isn't visually stunning.

We won't really meet her until the end of the game, I don't think, so, no. The other romances will progress over years---hers you'll see for, what, a few months, maybe?

Also. Yeah, BioWare fans will bone anything that is...not completely unsuitable (I tried saying female but I was like "no, fangirls do it too", and then I tried saying "young" but I remembered Flemeth...in fact, doesn't "sister" usually count as "completely unsuitable"?) until we see better options.

Looks white, to me. It also seems to be a design decision to make her stand out from that dark room. Before she blended in. I think I need to get used to it, and then I'll be okay with it.

You just said you woulnd't romance her because she is 'really ugly'.
And now, according to you, she is 'really ugly' because she has one (easily rectified) physical flaw.

On topic, however, I doubt she's romanceable- I'd state my reasons, but they've already been said. *points at pretty much every post above this one*
