 Bioware why is the Ultimate edition re-installing all the game data that is already on my PS3!!

What a complete joke.

i had the collectors edition and traded it for the ultimate one.

Why if all the data is on my PS3 already does the UE insist on redoing it all?

its not a new game as your Devs have already stated but I can't get around nearly an hour of installing again!!

Why doesn't the game do a check to see if Origins was previously installed!!

I think this may actually be a PS3 thing - the UE disc registers as a new game as far as the PS3 hardware thinks.



Like Awakening disc version however, it is possible for multiple titles in same franchise to share the same save locations and other profile bits (e.g. trophy info). So for most things within the game, it will behave as if it is origins and just pick up where you left off in terms of save game,etc, which is the intended experience.



Agree though, not ideal from install experience - wish we could have changed that - but it is 1 time (hopefully)
