I'm not sure this is the forum most appropriate, but I'm wondering whether or not to get the ultimate edition, I have Dragon Age: Origins with the DLC not counting Witch hunt's hunt, Golems of whatever, leliana's past, darkspawn chronicles and awakenings and the main reason I'd get it is for Awakening plus some of the DLC I don't yet have.
Would people say it's worth it? Or should I just ignore it.
Dragon Age Ultimate Edition worth it?

If you want Awakening, then go for it.

I think I will, the only thing I have against it is that I here the awakening endings sucked.

No comment. Either way, Ultimate is cheaper than Awakening is on PSN, so it makes sense to get Ultimate. I think Play.com have it for around £28, possibly Amazon too.

Yeah I'll get it, thanks
If you have it yourself, do you know if it would affect the DLC I already have? I have the collector's edition so I think it came with one or two extra items.

No. When you enter your code (there's only the game CD key for registering, a code for the ME2 armor, and a code for all the DA DLC), the list of new DLC shows up in your profile, adding to whatever you previously had activated.

I'd assume that works the same on PS3 too, thanks.devSin wrote...

If its ps3 you do not need to delete when you have inserted on the disc it says the game DAU and also Downloadable content open it up and click on the dlc you want and it wil install and add to the dlc you already have. When you have finished go back to game menu and start game new game you will have choice of starting origins, awakening, witch hunt , golems of amgarek ,lelianas song and darkspawn chronicles the rest is added in game.
Hope this helps.

DA Ultimate Edition is definitely THE version to get, but unfortunately you will not get the Blood Dragon Armor since that was a cross promotional item from purchasing Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition. It does come with all 9 content packs:
- The Stone Prisoner
- Warden's Keep
- Return to Ostagar
- The Darkspawn Chronicles
- Leliana's Song
- The Golems of Amgarrak
- Witch Hunt
- Feastday Gifts
- Feastday Pranks

Once again it goes to show that Bioware special preorder items don't mean jack. Just wait for the ultimate edition so you don't get ripped off.

I just recently bought the Ultimate version of DOA and my question is this: Is it possible to save all my player profile acheivements and still reload the Ultimate version for the addons? I have a killer Alienware PC but no online connection yet. I've just about maxxed out all the awards and don't really want to have top start all over again. Would these be a particular file somewhwere, I couldn't immediately find any. Any help would be appreciated!

I have the plain ol' DA:O retail edition (but it came with Stone Prisoner). If I buy Ultimate from Steam, will I have to start my game all over again? Or will I be able to transfer the expansions into my current runthrough? (even though it's Steam?)
Sorry about the n00bish question!
