One of my favourite game soundtracks has to be Bayonetta. After playing that game, I had 'Fly Me To The Moon' stuck in my head for ages.

After that would be
Mass Effect 1
ME2
Lost Odyssey
Final Fantasy X.

Just to intercede a moment.

I have been content with the vast majority of soundtracks included with games, as I often lose myself in the games and do not really notice the music any longer. It is those few times where the music was distrcting enough to cause me to notice that I I tend to recall.

Now back to your show....

Dirge for Planet by Firelake, Stalker SoC version.

Is Metro 2033 worth it? And has anyone read the books? I was thinking of giving them a try.

Wow that was awesome . I was impressed.

Me 2. The rhythm is great and the babys' cring also suits the rhythm well. I wonder, in what kind of situation/ environment this music has played in the game?

The books aren't really light reading. With all the Russian names and place names it gets kind of confusing and hard to keep track of. But it has an excellent map of the Moscow underground lol.

I think ME2 and DA soundtracks are mediocre ... there is nothing special to like

Jack Wall is amazing.

So is Koji Kondo. I still love the OoT and MM soundtracks from Zelda.

Icewind Dale especially the credits, perfect for drifting off to sleep on a nice rainy night.

Thanks. Don´t mind the heavy reading, so I´ll probably read them soon.

1. Halo: Reeeeeeach (Marty O'Donnell is a genius)
2. Halo 3: ODST (again, Marty is a genius although ODST kinda sucked)
3. Mass Effect 2 (not I day goes by I don't hum "suicide mission")
4. Halo 2 (Marty wins)
5. Halo 1 (Marty is victorious)

I didn't like ME1's music, It was very corny. And DA :Os was mediocre at best but that's just my opinion.

I don't think it actually plays during the game. I think the soundtrack might have been included in the limited edition.

Most of the music during gameplay is purely ambiance.
