I've been trying to think of who ought to be cast as Sten were a movie to be made. The only name I've come up with so far is Samuel L Jackson and he may be too old at this point.

I actually have the whole cast of origins in my head. I went with Oded Fehr, the Medjai dude from the Mummy trilogy.

I must admit I wondered whether Mark Hildreth's voice has been artificially deepened for Sten or if he can just control his voice that well. I saw him in V (the remake) and he sounded nothing like Sten. His wise human male voice set is also a fair bit higher.

I thought the same! When I saw the cast for DA I felt his name was familiar... and I couldn't believe it when I saw his picture. The dude from V can pull out THAT deep, sexy voice?



It must have been quite a challenge to voice the entire set for such an important NPC in a pitch so different than his own.

I was quite surprised when I checked the cast of the remake of V, I would never have guessed the guy who plays Joshua is the voice of Sten. It's nice that not all of the npc's who share a voice actor sound the same on every character though. Although now that I know, it's amusing to have Sten along while chatting with Sergeant Kylon.

Also, I was so suprised to see what Mark Hildreth looked like, I couldn't believe he did Sten's voice. It's still hard for me to believe it. I wish they had some behind the scenes footage of him recording the voice, I'd like to see if he actually did it or if they modified it.

Yeah they are a bit big, I didn't realize how much space they'd take until I posted them, lol! I used the dimensions you said. I left one kind of short though.

I'm not so great with keeping the detail, anyway here is what I got. I added an extra one for the heck of it, lol!

My Brosca had him in her party for the Gauntlet, and, in one of the barks that's meant to help you figure out that you should stand on the tiles, he calls the Warden 'kadan.'  I didn't have him anywhere near the approval rating to get that honestly and I did such a double-take!

Must've been because she'd just kicked his butt in Haven.
