I wonder what kind of Cookies Sten would like.
Peanut, Chocolate Oatmeal is one of my favorite.

Favourite Sten quote, on entering the dwarven tavern, "Is this some kind of mass suicide?"

I think Sten would appreciate any cookie that's sweet. Personally I'm fond of these, with white chocolate, caramels and dark chocolate, ooh the sugary goodness.

I might fight Sten for those, if he won't share . . . ..

After the incident with the annoying templar that he shared his cookies with, I think Sten is less than willing to share any cookies. Although you could get them the way he does, stealing them from 'fat, slovenly things', apparently they don't need more. And, it would be for their own good!

Warden: <Bodahn, have you heard any rumors?>
Bodahn: <I've heard, there's a band of theives, stealing cookies from fat little children!!! And their led by a Qunari, no less!!!>
Warden: <Really? That's hard to believe!>
Bodahn: <I know!!! They say there's a Grey Warden, with them too, can you beleive it?>

Well, we all know those silly gossip people have it all wrong! <.<
Besides, Grey Wardens stealing cookies from fat children during a Blight, nonsense! *cough*
Then again, we are talking about delicious cookies. I'm sure cookie making will be at a minimum what with the darkspawn killing everyone and tainting stuff. No one wants a darkspawn tainted cookie. :<

Thats how the blight was won.
Sten: Look at your abs, now back at mine, now back at yours, NOW back to mine. Sadly they cant be mine, no matter what you do.
But with Qun Spice they can smell like mine.
Darkspawn: He is right! To Qunari-Land!

You know as much as I love Sten I always wondered what the hell he was thinking when he Challenges you at Haven. I mean unless he knows something I didn't Two Grey Wardens, A bard, two Mages, A Dwarf Berserker, a Golem, and an Assassin aren't going to be enough to stop a blight on their own.
I mean hell look what happened to his unit already.

''After the Blight, Sten decided that he would not go back home
immediately, but offer his services as a more exotic addition to the
Pearl, in exchange for cookies and other sugary goodness.''

@ Bruddajakka...My wardens always see Sten a a mentor. He's testing your leadership throughout the game. The best way to gain his approval is to ask questions, consider the answers but stand your ground. The confrontation imo, is another test. He wants you to tell him to get back in line and kick his ass, then he can respect you.

Which incident is that? The one when you enter Haven and he says ''Interesting strategy. Tell me:Do you intend to keep going north until it becomes south, and attack the archdemon from the rear?' and get's a bit cranky and things?

Hm, I normally go with the ''It'll never see this coming'' line, 'cause its funny, then tell him to get back in line or something like that.

I *think* you loose approval for that response but you can gain approval for standing your ground and not trying to explain yourself.

I just enterd Haven with him, and went:
-It'll never see this coming.
-We're not ''running away'' from anything.
-[intimidate] You've said your piece, now get back in line.
I actually got +2 approval for it. Hm.

Yeah I've never had a problem with him. Just always found it weird that he makes an issue of it.

I see it as a waste of time as well.
Honestly it was annoying to run around like crazy all the while chasing after a legend.
