Really wish I could decide to join Sten after the Blight is defeated and travel with him. Sadly, there is no slide.

This thread is awesome! I've had quite a few laughs while going through the pages.
Sten is like a mentor to most of my characters. He reminds me of an old buddhist monk who speaks mainly words of wisdom.
If it were not for Sten, Morrigan, Wynne and their great disapproval of my actions,
I would probably go mad with appreciation of my actions.

Also to add to this appreciation thread : The strange conversation between Shale and Sten.

• Shale: I wish to say that it has been pleasant fighting at the qunari's side.
• Sten: I feel the same. You are a remarkable construct, kadan. A warrior to be feared.
• Shale: No more than the qunari, surely. The way it strikes down its foes, marvelous!
• Sten: I smile each time you roar a battle cry, knowing our foes tremble.
• Shale: I could watch you fight all day long--the skill
  you display, the form, how the light plays on its muscles... I mean...
  yes. Well done. With the fighting.
• Sten: You, as well.
• Shale: Right.

I would share any Sten stuff I had, sadly I have not got any of my own.

On my current run I took Sten back into the Lothering Chantry for the first time. It was interesting seeing how everyone freaked out. His response to the Revered Mother was the best:



"I sense I am unwanted."

@Dodok: hahahaa! The bottom one was my favorite, hahaha! I know 20 hours!  I'm so sad, I wish the Sten fans would spam this thread up so I could spam it more. Maybe we ought to have competitions or something like some o the other threads.

@Zjarcal: I was always too chicken to take him into the chantry until recently, I felt like that was pushing my luck, I figured the revered Mother was being nice enough to let me have him without much fuss I shouldn't throw it back in her face, hahahaha. Although I eventually did just because the reactions were too funny. Still felt kinda guilty though.

Also is anyone else playing that new mod Dark Times? It's really good , and they have some new animations so I took some cool screens of Sten. I'll post them up later, don't worry they aren't spoilers but they're still pretty cool.

YAY YOUR BACK AMEDYR! Any new Sten art, i hope? Lol, I always play the game and all of my characters suffer from the unrequited love they have for Sten.

Another favourite Sten moment for me is when you first enter Denerim Market Distric with him, and upon seeing the children running around he'll say:  "Those are too small, send them back to the priest for more training."  
I laughed quite a lot the first time I heard him say that.<3

Big guy who really likes cookies.



My mom made around 80 and my dad ate them in under three hours. I can imagine Sten doing that, and then looking sadly at the empty bag later.

It is all recycled dialogue from the game. In the intro scene Zevran made two comments and Sten this one further in. I missed the shot with him actually talking...a bit late with the screenshot finger I fear.

@TJPags: He's definitely the kind of guy that takes a bite of cookie and then sips some milk. If he's in a really good mood, he may dunk. At least that's what I think.

@Neveri: That conversation was so eye opening! Lol, I think Sten was probably a lot more serious than the other kids though.

Also Zjarcal, you should really try the mod, for something fan made it's amazing! Super fun! I've already been playing almost 2 hours and I doubt i'm even close to being done, just having fun exploring right now.

The fade dream is awesome, it really gives you a lot of insight I love it.

Sten's fade dream is very interesting, IMO - a little info, and a little curiousity . . . . definitely recommended.
