Mordin, a useful scientist. Not a raging teenage krogan.

Zaeed. Picking Jacob is a heavy r-no I just don't like Jacob that much and Zaeed is coolio.

Garrus or Thane?
Garrus no question because we're bros for life. And my female account is boning him.

Samara or Kasumi?
Kasumi. Samara needs to learn the sexiness of not revealing much.

Joker or EDI?
Seth Green wins.

Anderson or TIM?
Anderson duh. I trust him more than most in the ME universe.

Though I honestly wish they would, instead of catering to the masses and making each one standalone.. oh well I'll still stand in line for the next one counting down the seconds.
But more on topic these choices are awesome and would be more meaningful if they were to carry over into the next game.

Miranda or Jack? ---Always Miranda, unless i romanced Jack or I'm feeling particularly renegade that day
Tali or Legion? ---Damn this one would be tough. Tali and Legion are both tied closely to their species/race. I'd choose Tali, frendship and loyalty right? Plus shepard has gotten quite proficient at killing geth should things turn ugly.


Mordin or Grunt?------Grunt (Mordin's old anyway not gonna be useful forever. Plus you don't make Grunt mad, at least not more than once anyway)
Jacob or Zaeed?------Zaeed (he always gets the job done. Jacob is just...Jacob)
Garrus or Thane?-----Garrus (friendship and loyalty, also Thane's terminal so wait until the assassin is in the hospital to tell him the news)
Samara or Kasumi?--Samara (kasumi can't steal loyalty)

And just for cruel fun:
Joker or EDI? -----------No I can't... I wont!
Anderson or TIM?------Anderson (councilor)

Some of your rivalries don't make sense. I felt there was some tension between Jacob and Thane when you finish recruiting him on Illium, so why not pair up those two? And I always felt that Garrus and Samara could have a plausible rivalry, considering they have different views on law & order. Zaeed and Kasumi are DLC characters, and they don't really have any interactions with each other... or other characters for that matter. So I'm going to make some adjustments to my list if you don't mind.



Miranda or Jack?



Jack. If there was anyone that I'd need to keep a calm head on board the Normandy and during the suicide mission, it would be Jack. I don't need her going off the wall and screwing up my mission because she refuses to follow orders. Miranda can pretty much take care of herself, even when she's not loyal.



Tali or Legion?



Legion. The geth have had first hand experience with the Reapers, so they have a better understanding of them than most other species in the galaxy. Having one of them as a close ally would be very beneficial to my cause.



Mordin or Grunt?



Grunt. Like Jack, Grunt is very reckless. Mordin for the most part is there to do the science. I need Grunt on the front lines and cooperating with the team to make sure the mission gets done right.



Jacob or Thane?



Jacob. For starters, he's still got a few good years left on him. I figure Thane's life expectancy makes him good cannon fodder for the Collectors.



Garrus or Samara?



Garrus. Garrus has had my back since the events of the original Mass Effect, and he willingly joined my cause from the get go. I intend to show the same amount of loyalty towards him.



Zaeed or Kasumi?



Zaeed. Zaeed just makes more sense to have around than a thief. Other than being able to hack the doors at the beginning, she's pretty useless. Plus Zaeed needs to learn to cooperate with a team.



Joker or EDI?



EDI. Honestly, after you give her full access to the ship at the end of the game, I think she pretty much puts Joker out of the job. I forget what exactly she can and can't do, so don't quote me on that.



Anderson or TIM?



The Illusive Man. He's restricted by protocol and procedure like Anderson is. If you need something done, he can get it done without having to answer to higher ups and officials. I do like Anderson, but this is a war against the Reapers we're talking about, and I don't have time to waste getting the help I need.

I'd actually prefer if Charm/Intimidate options didn't show up so often, or were harder to earn.  That way the choices would really feel like choices.  As for who I'd side with...

Jack over Miranda.  Miri's smug attitude bugs me as much as it does Jack.

Legion over Tali.  Sorry, hon, but Legion's right.  The Quarians started it.

Mordin over Grunt.  He's just a lot more entertaining of a character.

Jacob.  Zaeed's kind of a dick.

Garrus.  Been my buddy since the first game, and Thane's gonna die soon anyway.

Kasumi.  She's got a fun personality.  Samara just scares me.

And the cruel ones...

Joker.  EDI's pretty human, but Joker's actually one.

Anderson over TIM, duh.  Guy could really use a break.

Jack- I don't really like Miranda.
Tali- I like Legion better then her but..she's been with me from the beginning.
Mordin- I like him better and he can cure the genophage so that makes him more useful.
Jacob- I don't like either one but I believe Jacob would be better with working as a team.
Garrus- He is my favorite character and LI plus he's been with us since the beginning. Thane is dieing soon anyway.
Samara- I never got to use Kasumi much since I got the DLC after my playthrough was finished.
Joker- EDI is just an AI and Joker has been with us since ME1 also.
Anderson- I don't like TIM very much.

Grunt- most effective squaddie after Miri

Zaeed- I love British/Uustralian accents. 

Garrus- After all Garrus and I went through in ME1, it would seem like a crime to not choose him. Plus I love his visor. 

Samara- I had my laptop stolen once. Therefore, I hate all kleptomaniacs. 

Joker and EDI- You cant choose person A over person A. They are one and the same. Duh. 

Anderson- When he punched Udina in the face in ME1, I fell in love with him. TIM just annoys me.

1 - I don't mind Miranda but Jack gets this one pretty easily for me.

2- This one is hard, I think it'd still lean towards Tali just because we'd been through a lot more.

3 - I'd hate this choice too, but I think Mordin would take it because he has more awesomely colorful and or melodious dialogue.

4 - Jacob. I liked Zaeed more than I thought I would be he's still too sinister for most of my Shepards.

5 - Garrus, but ONLY if he promised to stop talkling about those vile accursed calibrations.

6 - Samara, I never downloaded Kasmui so I don't know her.



Joker.

Anderson, in fact I'd prefer to have the option to take out Illusive Man anyway.

Firstly Jack Miranda is a **** in my opinion and way to conceded.

Next Tali...it's hard but Tali and Garrus are the longest standing members of my crew i picked up in ME 1 and Tali is alot better fleshed out in ME 2 than ME 1 Plus as an LI i prefer Tali. Legion has various diplomatic issues attached to him but if we can recover his body and re-boot him again this might be solvable.

Mordin out right. Smarter than grunt + i need a scientific genius to build my death star beam in ME 3
Zaeed Jacob is too naiave and i'm not sure if he is really capable of getting the job done as he couldn't even shoot his rapist kidnapping father.
Garrus, He's My best bud i couldn't take sides with Thane over him If garrus feels thane is a threat or there's something wrong thane is gonna take a hike that simple  Plus Garrus is much better with the sniper rifle in this one.
Kasumi has infiltration skills that will no doubt be needed in the future, Samarra Has biotics...i have the most powerful human biotic in the galaxy why do i need an asari one who might turn around and kill me if i have to do something extreme?

Anderson hands down over tim. I'd rather assume control of tims networks than work with him over anderson. Pluse anderson means i can actively attempt to manipulate the council.


Now then Joker or EDI? you bastage how could you make us choose between the 2 awesomest pilots ever >.< you bastage. But i've found "the Loop to your Hole" 

I pick Joker Why?:
EDI is an AI and she was obviously made by people working for cerberus which means there is an instruction manual to building another EDI. She is also integrated into the ship Meaning the Black box is essentially her memories of the ship and it's inhabitants.  We can take over tim's network or something and demand a Second EDI is created after she is destroyed and use the black box to 'refresh' her memories and install her on the new normandy So in the event EDI dies there is a definative Way to get her back I picked Joker because he can't be recreated.
And so i say Check and Mate Sir the toughest decision on here has been rendered negligiable XD Now where is my medal for saving both EDI and Jokers life in the longrun XD

Tali's been with me since ME1, but Legion is such a BAMF... Tough choice, but probably Tali.

Grunt, just because I use him more often. I love Mordin to pieces, though, and would feel awful for sacrificing him.

Zaeed. Jacob creeps me out.

GARRUS. He's a bro, and FishLips McEmoFace has space lung cancer anyway.

Kasumi or Samara, I'd have to flip a coin. I love them both, and both are equally useful.

If I actually had to make these choices, I would probably cry like a sissy; even though I really don't like half the characters I sentence to death, I feel attached to them nonetheless.



Which is why decisions like these should TOTALLY be in ME3 all over the place. I want a game where a happy ending may not be possible, no matter how paragon you are.

It's made kinda obvious by Mordin's claims and the fact all the ME2 romances are about boning.
