Yes, you can read all the entries in the toolset. Just create a new module or open an existing one open the plots palette, then choose _Codex and there it is.

I searched in the toolset, but I didn't found anything. When I open a module (Single Player) and click on the plot palette in the top right, there is nothing. oO

Do you have any palette filters set? Click the little down arrow next to the text filter field and ensure that "only show resources checked out to me" isn't checked.

The codex entries are in Core Resources, so they should be present in both 1.00 and 1.01 versions of the toolset. Not sure why they wouldn't be visible to you if not due to a filter of some sort.

No need to open a file. With Single Player module opened, I see the codexes under Plots.

Also, you can see the codexes and all other game text in the String Editor. That can be useful if, for example, you want to find and edit all references to "hurlock".

I can see the items in the module filter and in the sound filter, but in no other category. Is this maybe a corrupt installation or a corrupt database?

If you can see the Codex folder in the Sounds filter of the palette view, something must be seriously wrong with your installation. I can see it in the All and Plots filters only. It appears for all modules, because it's a core resource.

You misunderstood ;-) I can only see items IN the sound and module filter, but the plot and any other filter is empty. No codex entries at all.

Sounds like there is a serious flaw with your installation of the Toolset, the Database, or both ...

Any idea how I can fix this? I installed the database seperatly from the toolset, because otherwise it doesn't work.

Ah, you may need to restore the backup of the toolset's database to get all those resources into it, in that case. You'll find a copy of the database backup in C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\dbbak, and some batch files that can help giving the commands to MSSQL to restore it can be found in C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\DatabaseUtilities\\Backup_Restore. Models and sounds aren't stored in the database, which is why there'd be something in those palette filters but not in the others.

I'm using SQL Server Managment Studio and there I restored the backup already. Maybe my backup is corrupt xD Any idea how I can find out?

redownload the toolset create a sha hash and of it do the same with the one you already downloaded and installed if the the sha is the same (you can use http://md5deep.sourceforge.net/ for creating the sha hash or just remove your tollset drop the database, reinstall, create the database and reload the db backup from the fresh install

Ok, its works now, thanks ;-) But unfortunately the codex entries are in english. Can I import the codex entries from the game with my language in the toolset?

So, I'm trying to finish my bugged Correspondence Interruptus quest, so I thought maybe adding in the missing codex entry to the Correspondence Interruptus codex would fix it, so I went to the toolset, and went to the _codex folder, but I can't find the Correspondence Interruptus codex... I am wondering why it's not there?
