Hello all,
So, when using the deform tool on exterior levels, you can raise/lower the terrain using that spherical object. I know I can raise the radius of it to raise/lower more terrain at a time, but I'm wondering if it's possible to just take a piece of flat land, and raise/lower it, using some sort of rectangular shape object or something, so the elevation stays even throughout.
I essentially have a huge piece of land I want to simply raise X meters higher, and it's sort of annoying to use the deform tool to raise parts of it up, then use the plateau tool to smooth it out.
Thanks.

You raise a node or a piece of land X metres high using deform, select the plateau tool and position it over the node or piece of land you just raised and move it around to elevate the areas you want - without letting go of the mouse button. If you let go, it will use whichever point it is at as a reference.
I remember one more option where you can flatten all ground underneath a particular model but I am unable to find it in the toolset.

Using the deform tool, if you make the outer radius half the width of the plateau, maximise the inner radius, then drag the mouse boldly across the terrain, you get a raised plateau with near-vertical sides. Lowering a river bed is similar.

As always, thanks for the tips, guys!
