I bought the game on Steam last year and used my code so I could download the 3 DLCs
Finished the game and had a jolly good time.

But today I decided to play the game again, the instalation went nice, but ...

-now these three DLCs don't show in my "registered game promotions"
-the downloader in the game tells me to buy more points and

WTH is going on? Do I have to buy them all now?

Try moving/deleting the profile.dap file under your My Document/BioWare/Dragon Age/Settings. That will make the game re-verify what you have.

ok, I think I get it

somehow the code for these 3 DLCs only works for my steam version

when I install an EA digital version, using the same serial from my steam version for the download and the installation, I get all my DLCs except these 3 and others I have unlocked in the DA browser game

also the content "downloader" from the game got messed up and did not show any DLC in the available/downloading/installed tabs, but I have fixed using some commands from another thread

so I guess my situation is as follows

I can only get these 3 DLCs using my steam version

If I want to get'em to use in a EA digital version I'll have to buy'em somehow ?

man ... DRM sure blows ... =/

would not work, the problem is not about the game not finding them (these 3 DLCs),
they are not installed, I did a clean install , the other DLCs are working

the problem is the game trying to charge me money for something I should already have

Check your bioware profile under registered game promotions. If it your DLC isn't there, the game won't think you have the rights to use that DLC. If it is, there's an option under 'more info' to download the DLC itself. Once you do, you can install it locally then do the profile.dap correction.

You can then verify if any DLC is attached correctly to your account here.

Make sure you login to the game once, using the same email/password as you use here on the site (email should be visible at the top of that page to confirm).  Give it a couple minutes and your DLC should authorize.

If it is not - 99% likely the cause is something related to the DA updater service which is used to connect to the
servers and check that your account has these dlc:
1) Try restarting the PC. Depending on windows version and whether you installed the game from disc vs digital service, the restart is sometimes needed for the DA updater service to take correctly.  This is also true for uninstall/re-install scenarios - restart after each step in that case.
2) Follow the steps in this thread to identify the issue and resolve it (depends on what the issue is).

Hope that helps.
F.
