pretty much what it says on the tin, anyone managed it?

Had trouble installing everything, then used safe mode on it worked. Tried EasyTutu and it wouldn't work, tried BGT and it wouldn't work, then some how I corrupted the game and have had to uninstall it, bloody annoying.

Are there any alternatives if it doesn't work, e.g. does Tutu v4 work? (I can't seem to find the direct download link on their page)

I have the European 4-1 set and I know that BGT works with it. Could there be any other incompabilities (e.g. your OS)?

Did you have to do anything different to the normal approach when installing? Did I muck up by installing Balderdash beforehand?

I believe your main problem is that you likely installed C:\\\\Program Files\\\\Baldur's Gate or something like that.
On Vista you may not install where Vista can watch you. Best you go with something like C:\\\\Baldur's Gate.

Oh and yes. Baldurdash is the wrong way to go. G3 Fixpack is the new black. And just because it needs to be mentioned, the official patches need to be installed too and first.

ok cheers. There's so many different fixes and the like it's hard to follow sometimes, you'd think as well that the 4-1 would come pre patched ffs!

BGT install hasn't seemed to change anything for me, I'm not noticing the different GUI and the screen resolution is still the same (I've installed the G3 widescreen mod too). Everything said it was successful installing. What am I doing wrong now?

*I'm a dumb ass, that's the problem. Unfortunately I think it's terminal, but at least the problem at hand has been solved. Click BG2 instead of BG1.
