That's not what I was saying at all, actually.  I think Flemeth's power and influence needs to be used sparingly or it either introduces plot holes or becomes cheapened.   I'd say this is true for any sufficiently powerful character and has nothing to do with their sex.

- Define sparingly?  We might only meet her 1 to 2 times over the course of the game for all we know. Who says that isn't enough time for her to use her "influence."  

- What I'm proposing isn't a stereotypical "romance"... I agree I don't want her to be a companion.  But the idea of Hawke being infatuated with a Flemeth who teases him through out the course of the game doesn't seem that far fetched to me.

-Or maybe my Hawke just really wants to be able to say, "See that woman that just turned into a dragon over there? I tapped that."

Its been a bit since reading those books but as  Iremember there is no evidence to that other then them going into the hut. Thats all. They could of been playing checkers, she could of pulled out a crystal ball and shown him a twisted vision of the future, made waffles, or anything else. Its not out of the realm of possibility but its not proven.

I think there's a line about Flemeth NOT being Morrigan's biological birth mother in DA:O, but I don't remember the exact wording. I just find that the whole idea of Alistair and Morrigan being related is ridiculous at any rate - pretty sure they're not going for the Morgan Le Fay angle.

Marric stared into the mysterious women's yellow eyes.  He knew what game she was playing, and he was not going let her win. Giving him a coy smile she cooed, " I have to admit I have never met a man with such promising signs in... skill"  

This hour they spent in this tent together was possibly one of the interesting experiences of his life and great with fascination he watched her nimble hands twist and jump playfully, her touch warm radiating a magical heat.
Marric winked and smiled back in triumph.

"Checkmate," he said.

No the latter is Fable. And we don't need another Fable. I think Fable III proved that definitively.

Not confirmed. Maric made a promise to her. I don't think knocking her up counts as a promise, at least not in itself.
