it took me about 15........or more.....god dammit is it gonna be like this for EVERYTHING that needs autentication???

Hey, Bioware, either fix this or get MS to fix it. I paid for your game and the DLC. I expect to be able to play it. I don't mean to be a dick, but I am sick of stuff like this happening.

Yeah, I needed to get the dashboard update so I could download a bunch of pre-order items (I never played DA:O online until my Ultimate Edition arrived) and it took FOREVER. The new update is messing with the Dragon Age servers or something. The big problem was that when online, it takes like 2 minutes to check DLC (like after you download a pre-order item). Offline, it only takes the regular 30 seconds. Almost went nuts.

Same thing here. After the dashboard update yesterday, when starting Dragon Age, "Checking downloadable content" takes about 3-4 minutes instead of the 3 seconds it used to.

Really? Before the update it'd take upwards of 7minutes to check the damn DLC stuff, now it zips by in maybe 90secs to 2 mins.

This problem existed before the update? I wouldn't know as I only started downloading Dragon Age stuff yesterday. lol zips at 2 minutes. I guess it's all relative.

It's not the game, it's the new dashboard itself that seems to be causing problems. I cleared my cache yesterday, and when I put a game in I got the update screen, but it stayed there for about 3-4 minutes before I could actually select my storage device.

The problem seems to have solved itself. Dragon Age behaviour is back to normal concerning the "Checking downloable data" part.

My husband is screaming in the next room, right now, because the last dashboard update apparently deleted his save, reset his "tutorial feature", and other problems.
