I'm making a mage for my latest playthrough and I was wondering what the best gear was. I'm probably going to go blood mage/spirit healer. I have all of the DLCs so I can use any gear from those. Thanks for any help given.

Vestments of the Seer

Sash of Forbidden Secrets

The Spellward

Key to the City

If you're going to but using Blood Magic a lot, Lifegiver would be ideal, otherwise second ring slot is mostly open.

Magus War Boots

First Enchanter's Cowl or Libertarian's Cowl

Staff of the Magister Lords

For your gloves, just grab the 20% damage boosting for whatever damage type you do the most of.

For the staff, If you dont have that kind of money I suggest wintersbreath

Zathrian has a pretty nice staff too and it's free....so long as you don't mind killing him for it

Reapers Vestments are also good but the same problem its expensive, if you are a Bloodmage or a Arcane Warrior in Andrastes Temple there are two nice objects called the Blooddrinker for Bloodmages and the Spellweaver or something like that its a sword for Arcane Warriors and only Arcane Warriors can hold this sword, its mighty i can tell ya,

If you played Witch Hunt during an existing Origins campaign where do you later find Vestments of the Seer in Origins if you have unlocked it successfully?

It, like all DLC-granted gear, will be in your inventory right after you make the character or on the first load after it's unlocked of any existing game.
