Taming the first Maw imbues Sheppard with a psychic link that allows him to commune with and ride any Thresher Maw in the Galaxy, therefore circumventing the need for Maw transport.

At the end of ME3, Sheppard uses this ability to dominate the galactic 'Spice' trade (aka, Red Sand)

Think about it. Do you honestly think that they had time to pack clothes when they fled their homeworld? They've been drifting around in space for ~300 years now, and by this point they've probably forgotten that they're all naked. This would explain why they get infections so easily when they remove their suits: they're actually removing their skin.



Incidentally, this means that Shepard removed Tali's face and made out with her skull. It's a good thing Quarian cells are seemingly able to reconnect naturally and easily.

TM FTW! Can't really see how you can get it on the Normandy but maybe one or two special missions that require you to ride that bronco to hell and back.

YEAH this is my favorite thread on the Citadel- I mean internet. But Thresher Maw as a LI? That'd be REALLY disgusting... I don't really need to elaborate, and if I do, well, I won't.
