Right, I'll begin by saying I'm terrible with the toolset and I only ever use it to browse developer comments for conversations, that said, I need to helo with something.
I'm attempting to alter a merchant's inventory (nothing major; I just want Bodahn to stock infinite Grey Warden helms) I can make this change in the toolset, however there is no change to the in game merchant inventory. What exactly do I have to do here to make my editing show up in game?

Right click the resource you edited in the palette (over on the right side of the toolset). Hit 'export without dependent resources.' This will create a file somewhere in your my documents/bioware/dragon age folder that the game can see and load when it runs.

I am also having this issue. I modified an item clicked export without dependent resources. I can see the modified item in my override folder, but the item remains unchanged in the game.
I also tried loading a save before I even acquired the item, and still no good.
