So, through some weird mix of DA:2 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood trailers... I felt super inspired to draw my City Elf, Darrian (I liked the default name... >_>)  Just a heads up: I've taken a lot of liberties with the clothing, but since DA is going under a design re-haul anyway, I figured... WHO CARES?   So, without further stalling:

Situation: A few years before the Blight.  Drunken humans wandered into the Alienage hoping to start a ruckus.  Darrian went to escort them out.  Shenanigans ensued.  Soris is not pleased, Darrian is giving 'his side' of the story, Shianni is looking far too amused.

Bruises are fun.  Hoods are awesome.  DA:O should have had hoods, yo.

Fail background is fail. xD  Oh, how I hate backgrounds.  On another note though, I really love the new armor designs for DA: 2.  Like, a lot.  Hopefully they have hoods for us poor rogues? )=  Anyway, this is just more Darrian, this time with his hair up, because changing hairstyles is fun. >_>

Wow, I haven't posted here for a while. Dx But anyway, I've got some new pictures to put up on display! =D

The first is a mage.  I've named him Cedric. =)



Cedric is not actually a Grey Warden. *le gasp* I know.  Blasphemy.  He's from the Circle of Magi in Orlais, and as Orlais is quite the Chantry powerhouse, he's also quite devote.  Sort of.  I decided a while ago that I wanted to write a DA fanfic.  Orginally, I was going to write about Darrian's adventures during the Blight in Ferelden, but I found it to be a slow moving story that I got bored with kind of fast, as I'd already experianced his adventures through the game.

So instead, I decided to write a story post-Blight that took place outside of Ferelden in Orlais.  And thus, Cedric was born! =D  I may post his fanfic here one day, when I'm more confident in it's quality.

I also have a bit of Fenris art. =3  I really can't help it, elves are my favorite race in Thedas, and his character design really jumped out at me.  I thought it was awesome... unfortunately, it's pretty tricksy to draw.



I think he looks a little young here, but I'm still happy with it. =)  Not so happy with my color job, though:



Though that may just be because I was staring at it for so long. xD Uggg... not sure what I'm going to draw next.  Probably more Darrian though.  Darrian needs more love. :3

It snowed a few days ago. That, mixed with my desire to draw better backgrounds, resulted in this picture of a Ferelden winter in Amaranthine.

Zevran has just recently returned to Ferelden, after 'dealing' with Crows in Antiva. Darrian decided to greet him personally outside of the city (while pretending to go on 'patrol', most likely.)

I imagine Zevran is retelling some of his adventures, one of which probably ends in, "... and then I stole his plush winter coat!" xD

Anyway, this took an embarrassingly large amount of time to finish. ;-; *skips off*

@Berence: I love assassin, and I love elves.  I thought it would be a good idea to combine the two.

Anyway, if you've read this thread, you should know that the four love interests of DA: 2 have at long last been announced.  Said characters also got awesome short stories to provide insight into their characters.

I'm planning to comic parts from all of their stories.  The first two I did were for my current favorites, Fenris and Isabela. :3
