1) Ensure you have redeemed your DLC code (this is NOT your cd key)
Separate from the cd key, you will find an insert in the box with a DLC code (or this is emailed to you for digital versions). This is a two-sided insert, with a Mass Effect 2 image on one side, and the DA Ultimate Edition DLC redemption code on the other side.
You can redeem the code here.
2) Verify your DLC is correctly added to your account
You can then verify if any DLC is attached correctly to your account here.
3) Connect your game to the DA servers once, so the game knows your DLC is attached to your account
Make sure you login to the game once using the same email/password as you use here on the site (this email address should be visible at the top of this same page to confirm).
Give it a couple minutes and your DLC should be recognized (and change from unauthorized).
4) Play
Once all DLC is no longer unauthorized, you can now play the game with any of the content. You do not need to stay logged in if you do not want to.
STILL HAVE ISSUES:
If the DLC is still unauthorized - 99% likely the cause is something related to the DA updater service which is used to connect to the servers and check that your account has these dlc:
1) Try restarting the PC. Depending on windows version and whether you installed the game from disc vs digital service, the restart is sometimes needed for the DA updater service to take correctly. This is also true for uninstall/re-install scenarios - restart after each step in that case.
2) Follow the steps in this thread to identify your specific issue and resolve it (depends on what the issue is).
