Picking a single title for game of the decade is ludicrous. I could never do it, there are too many influential games.
Then at least vote for your favourite games to get through to next round.

If (most likely when) Mass Effect makes it through to the next round it would be up against Skies of Arcadia, so Bioware could potentially take two black eyes from that game, ouch! that would hurt.
I don't think the collective fist of GameFAQs is strong enough to bruise anyone.

Lol. Well crafted.
Pointless polls aside, I love GameFaqs. You don't have to register and you get access to tons of useful gaming info.

And out of those Warcraft 3 already drop out, which i am surprised at, since in my opinion it was the best game from Blizzard, and the most revolutionary they ever made - considering the new hero and RPG aspects within RTS.
And Baldur's gate, which was probably RPG of the decade, no matter what, is also out.
Now i guess its either going to be Half-Life 2. Also God of War 2 (The 3rd part was messed up, but second one is very good.) and Mass Effect could win as those are best games on consoles, that were ever made in past decade.

It wasn't revolutionary, Warlords Battlecry did both well before W3 and did it better as well.Chaos Lord Malek wrote...

Gamefaqs is for children.
The community? Yes. As a source of FAQs, walkthroughs, cheats, and exploits? It's pretty solid and easy to navigate and not filled with spammy annoyances or fees and such. Some boards there are better than others, and the ones I used to visit for Bioware games before deciding to join the real party were basically the same as here, with less insight but the same basic ideas and perspectives.

No as of right know BBS is the only gamein the KH storyling that is remniscent of a previous KH storyline (KH1) and even then it was a prequel and intentional on the directors part.:innocent:leonia42 wrote...

Modern Warfare 2 or Kingdom Hearts is going to win, unfortunately.
Lol, what, Kingdom Hearts? Isn't that a game that keeps getting remade but is basically the same story line most of the time?

Wait, World of Warcraft is paired with Animal Crossing?
*snorts*
The WoW/Animal Crossing pairing is the perfect setup for every underdog story ever. The supporters of the clear frontrunner will be overconfident of victory in such an early bracket and simply not show up to vote, leaving the door open for a near upset as, I don't know, a youth group with an indeterminately sick mentor raises awareness through bake sales and the help of a plucky lacrosse playing chimp. I mean, where in the rules does it say a chimp can't be game of the decade? They'll lose, of course, but lessons will be learned, and at the last second WoW's icy heart will melt and it will join the protest line in front of the bulldozers and stop the mandatory playground from being razed with the power of hope and money. Then a lawyer will run up with a stack of papers and a magnifying glass and say he's found a loophole that actually grants ownership of the land to the chimp and the money can instead be used to save the mentor's house from foreclosure, plus remove the asbestos that made her sick. A nice tidy wrap-up for some dead-eyed series writer's last outlet for his college angst about cultural industrialization or whatever else that cute girl with the Che shirt made him think he believed. High-fives, laughter, freeze frame, and montage!
Wow, I feel like I just read something by Douglas Adams there.

Me too, of those listed. My personal preference, however, would be Wizardry 8.Upsettingshorts wrote...
I'd be happiest if Deux Ex won. That game can't win enough accolades as far as I'm concerned.
And, as someone who's played both BG2 and Skies of Arcadia, I can only shake my head at those results (and I don't even really think BG2 is that great of a game.)
