I played the ME2 Demo and enjoyed it so that I bought ME1 and ME2. Just finished ME1 and a bit disappointed. No romantic relationship with Liara was presented. I missed gathering minerals by 17 out of 20. (thought maybe I could go back after end game). Unable to register game so unable to get BDtS. PM'ed suport but no reply .  Anyway, I chalk that all up to ME1 being an older game. Now Imma Gonna instal ME2 and import saveed filesto pick up where I left off....

...did you pick up Liara last, then? Like, after Virmire? Because one of the things you hear most is that it's so hard to avoid Liara's romance.

What error message are you getting when you try to register your game? I got ME1 in April of this year and had little trouble once I found the site to actually register it.

I picked up Liara about mid way through. The last four times I tried to talk to her she just said "This will all be over soon".

The error I get is *Error Code 102: Unable to verify CD Key as entered, please check key and try again.* I've tried caps, lower case, dashes, no dashes.

Sounds like you're entering one of the characters incorrectly. Make sure you're not entering 8 when it should be B or vice versa. And I don't think dashes are necessary.
