In the config utility of ME2 for PC there's a graphics page where you can turn stuff either on or off. I turned everything on, but I dunno if that's the best I can go since in most games on for something could actually mean lower graphics settings.
Since this game doesn't have pre-sets like most games(whyy?) which settings should I turn on/off for the best possible visuals?

All on except motion blur, though that's personal preference. Most people will say you have to turn off film grain but I think that looks pretty good.

Set everything on Highest although I always disable film grain

What graphics card do you have?
There are some really cool settings which I am using after purchasing a Geforce 460, and I'll say that the game looks Ridiculous.
If you are using at least a Geforce 250 / 450 or above, let me know and I'll post my graphics tweaks.
I don't know any of the ATI settings so I cannot help with those cards.
