Nemain head on
Image IPB

Nemain is probably the most unique character ever presented on this site, and, as such, she very nearly got featured in my GME2CTME1 Project. But, in the field of commanders, I felt Flies' Indra character, as shown on page 2, was a more powerful figure and better suited for it. So, Xeranx, I know you're already "more than happy" with how Qiyana has turned out, and rightfully so, and I'm happy to hear that, but you may still find something interesting with Nemain's features, and decide to adopt one or two of those to further enhance your own creation. As you can see, Nemain's looks could fit about any kind of psychological profile. Whatever the case may be, I'm sure you have enough material now to find a satisfactory solution to the "African Question". If you think I can
help with anything more, feel free to post your question here. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]

Thanks Domar.  To be honest I did come across Nemain before.  I just never thought to use her probably because of her eyes.  I don't know what it is about them that makes me not want to use them.  I'll work with the
general structure and I do believe C8 would work well for her.  Thanks again.

I must agree about the eyes - in themselves, they don't appear particularly "African". If in doubt of that, just check my Asian character named Halo on page 2. She has the very same type of eyes, and I think they suit her, i.e. the "Asian" look, better. But, since you stated that you wanted to keep the eyes (and cheekbones) of Qiyana, I did not show you Nemain for the eyes, but for the overall face structure. I'm not sure if her mouth shape can pass for "African", either (when I worked with a few of my own ideas, I experimented with a rather large version of Mo1-10, but this may not be much better). And yet I say: the remarkable thing about Nemain's features is that they create a whole including those eyes and that mouth shape which look more "African" than any whole I think I can come up with on those generation screens.

It would be very interesting to see what you made of all this, Xeranx. So I wouldn't mind seeing Qiyana again. ;)

Personally, I'd probably tune down that Mo4-28 and/or Mo3-23 a bit.

Those are the mouth size sliders, I assume? I'm not at home to confirm this right now, but that's what it looks like you did. Which is really funny, because I did another playthrough with this character after the one my screenshots are from, and when I revisited the face code in ME2, I decided to scale back the lips a bit, ending up with pretty much exactly what your ME1 version looks like here. So obviously I agree it's an improvement, and it's kind of cool that we both came up with the same thing.

It's definitely true that that mouth shape is difficult to use. I ended up with what you see in my screenshots because of the known lighting issues in the ME2 face creator - with hindsight, I might not even have used that shape at all, and I did try it with different ones later, but the face just lost all its character. And it does have this odd aura of looking like someone who might actually be a real person, so I didn't want to lose that and just shrank the lips a bit instead. It also animates much better at a smaller size.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words, and if I ever take Anastasia back for another playthrough of ME1 (maybe after 3 comes out), I'll use what you have here. I managed to reconstruct her fairly well myself a few months back, but this is spot-on.

Actually, my sole contribution to the appearance of ME1 Anastasia was the choice in Preset face. They do differ in some respects. My comment about the mouth was more like a recommendation to anyone reproducing her to take that into consideration for a possibly perfect version of her (my deviations from the ME2 Face Code are always shown in red text, but these "deviations" are usually more in line with the ME2 pics of the character in question). So our assessments are in agreement, spacehamster, it's just that mine is not really implemented in those shots. I took care with the choice of pics to avoid those with a light that exaggarated the size of her mouth, that's all. So if I took Anastasia for a real run, I'd probably give her a Mo4-26 with Mo3-22 or something like that.

She does have a unique and very likable character with that mouth, and a resemblance to a real person few other femsheps have. So I think you did great with her, good enough to be featured in this project of mine (meaning that she stands above at least 75 other femsheps in that "Share Your Shepards.." thread in my book). Glad you liked my presentation of Anastasia, and that you might use my conversion yourself later on. I couldn't get a better grade for my work! ;)

Ah okay. Yeah, the lighting has an odd effect on how large the lips appear with those settings. Obviously I don't need to tell you this, but my screenshots are also relatively flattering, they look humongous sometimes. The fact that the effect sort of seems to come and go was the reason I actually finished the first playthrough with that version, but now that I've adjusted the lips, it really does look a lot better. I'd take screenshots, but I'm playing on a 360, and taking pictures of your TV is a gigantic pain.

After a very long time, I have finally gotten my 360 shep onto PC. I just went into ME3 360, and wrote down all the slider positions and it works just great. I have the pics in bmp on google+. Here is the code, and the links to the three pics.  Enjoy!

Very nice of you to share your shep with the community in this way, Beathil, making it easy for all fellow gamers to use it on their own comps. Thank you.

Yes, I started this project with that goal in mind and should try to finish it. That means at least ten more faces - five male sheps and five female sheps - to go before we have a fair selection of usable sheps here. Been busy on the modding scene elsewhere for the past year and then my PC broke down (I'm writing this from a Mac). But as soon as I get me a new gaming rig (ready for ME3), I'll probably return to the development of this thread.

Until then, I wouldn't mind seeing more people following Beathil's example of sharing their ME1 sheps for easy reproduction by others here. Take care out there.

Right. Back on main track for this thread, at last.

I've updated some of the earlier posts to bring the image content to a better standard since I've discovered that links to enlargements die after a certain amount of time, which means that thumbs become useless. So I'm sticking to the maximum image size allowed by the site from now on. When links to their enlargements die, they can still viewed in that first size.

Time to recapitulate what we've covered in the GME2CCTME1 Project so far, as promised.

In this first post since the long break, I'll gather the malesheps...

randomer18's Scott Shepard, on page 2, talking to Jenkins
Image IPB

Mondo47's Isaac Shepard, on page 2, in profile
Image IPB

Jed Q's Phoenix Shepard, on page 3, checking things out
Image IPB

Method82's John Shepard, on page 4, straight on
Image IPB

and MickeyMutant's "Mike" Shepard, on page 4, talking grimly to Joker
Image IPB

Enjoy.

Hang on, femsheps coming up...

It's been a very long time since this thread was updated with completely new content. During this period, it has still attracted thousands of views. Makes me believe there's interest enough for me to continue with the GME2CCTME1 Project. Would not have bothered otherwise.

But during this time the number of candidates in the Share Your Shepard thread has increased a great deal. It's over 200 and counting now, still with the distribution of about 40 and 60% in malesheps and femsheps, respectively. The number would have been considerably higher, 300+ easily, if all people who post info about their sheps there had given both a pic and face code for them. Characters presented with just pics OR code alone have not been evaluated for this project, for various reasons. My pick of the "ten best malesheps" and "ten best femsheps" is from the remaining lot. The amount of work this has proven to require is plenty enough.

And there's plenty of interesting characters in that lot. Time for two more examples in...

GREAT ME2 CHARACTERS CONVERTED TO ME1 PROJECT

Male character #6:

Bran Shepard by TaHol, first shown on page 45 with the following data...

Image IPB

Given ME2 face code: 531.DDE.FKF.A3G.AII.I7K.NBE.6FI.BF5.6G2.137.6

I used that data to produce the ME1 face code below...

Male C8
F 1-5, 2-3, 3-1, 4-10
He 2-13 (X), 3-14, 4-15, 5-20, 6-15, 7-10
E 2-6, 4-18, 5-18, 6-18, 7-7
J 1-20, 2-23, 4-11, 5-13
Mo 3-18, 4-11, 5-15
N 2-6, 3-16
Ha 2-3, 4-7, 5-6

Cycle Preset is my guess, the scar my spice on the character, and for the pics that follow, I chose to leave the preset value for neck thickness as it was (as indicated by "X" in parenthesis), i.e. a good deal thicker than the ME2 face code transcription, since the man on the ME2 image appeared to be more powerfully built here. The result...

Image IPB
Bran in profile

Image IPB
looking good in lightweight armor

Image IPB
seeing trouble on screen

Image IPB
receiving orders

This guy represents the handsome type of Shepard sporting that hair style better than perhaps all others. He comes across as a resourceful man who doesn't need to rely on physical prowess all the time to overcome his enemies, but can use his substantial brain (Bran) capacity to find more clever solutions, outwitting them. Almost like Sherlock Holmes. Like his name, too. Bran. Unusual. Gives him additional air of being special.

                                                                                          ...

For the new femshep to be featured, we must, as usual, wait a little...

Done.

Female character #6:

AkodoRyu's impressively realistic character which I, in my ignorance of her true identity, is calling Ada Shepard. Presented on page 75 in the aforementioned thread like this...

Image IPB

Original face code: 622.D1I.81W.H84.F81.1BW.EFC.A14.LM9.647.3G6.111

Diverged from transcription a few times, as shown by the options in grey, most importantly regarding neck thickness and chin height. From the pic AkodoRyu supplied, Ada's face seemed a bit longer than first produced in ME1, but not quite as long as my value for corrected chin height given below will make it. I've chosen to leave that correction as it came out, because it could be interesting to see how Ada fares with that change, too. Other than that, I expect the look of her eyes or eye-lashes will improve with the transfer back to ME2. So, with the following figures for ME1...

Female C7
F 2-1, 4-X
He 1-13 (X), 2-1, 3-18, 4-8 (X), 5-1, 6-31, 7-17
E 2-4, 3-15, 4-8, 5-1, 6-1, 7-11
J 1-31 (1-27), 2-14, 3-15
Mo 1-10, 2-1, 3-4, 4-21, 5-22
N 1-9, 2-6, 3-4
Ha 1-7, 3-16
Ma 3-1

..."Ada" turns up like this:

Image IPB
agreeing with Joker

Image IPB

Image IPB
frowning at Jenkins

This is one of those rare femsheps that not only looks perfectly natural, but also seasoned. She's not some sort of child with everlasting youth, extraordinary talent and novel theories of how things should be done; she's a practical woman who brings actual experience into the field; she knows what she's doing and what it takes to achieve something; and she's better than most people doing it. Actually in a class of her own. The rare individual.

                                                                                           *

How's that for creative inspiration?

For these great contributions to the showcase for sheps, I'm in debt to TaHol and AkodoRyu. Thanks a lot for sharing your work, guys! :)

GREAT ME2 CHARACTERS CONVERTED TO ME1 PROJECT

Male character #7:

Steven Shepard by brainless78, from page 86 of the "Share Your Shepard..." thread, and seen elsewhere like this...

Image IPB

Image IPB

With ME2 face code: 531.WJK.C8R.129.LLW.F79.W1C.7MW.2G6.5D7.157.6

Found his face looking a bit more powerful in the pics from ME2 than literally transcribed in ME1, so did some adjustments, as shown in the alternate values in parenthesis ("X" again meaning no change from original setting with given Cycle Preset). There's room for more along this line, I think. The import back to ME2 might be beneficial in that regard.

ME1 face code:

Male C7
F 1-5, 3-1
He 1-31, 2-19, 3-20, 4-12 (4-16), 5-8, 6-26, 7-1
E 1-2, 2-9, 4-21, 5-31, 6-15, 7-1
J 1-9 (X), 2-31 (2-22), 3-1, 4-12 (X)
Mo 1-7, 2-22, 3-31, 4-2, 5-16
N 1-6, 2-5, 3-13
Ha 1-1, 2-5, 3-7, 4-7, 5-6

With the parenthesis values, Steven shows up like this in the first game of the series...

Image IPB
listening to the chatter at the bridge

Image IPB
presence on ship

Image IPB
talking with firm voice to Pressly

This guy has power. As evident from the ME2 pic, he can appear real classy in dark suits of armor. Add those piercing blue eyes and you get a presence of unusual magnitude. Great work by brainless78!

                                                                                        B)

Femshep #7 on the way, later. Maybe tomorrow.

...

Made it tonight.

Female character #7:

The 7th selectee very nearly became one of those who did no get selected in the end. Not because there was doubt about her quality. The problem is that in one or two important respects she cannot be reproduced in ME1 close enough to the original in ME2, on account of her being modded in two areas. But the result is still interesting enough to warrant her a place here, IMO. She was presented by Voidlight as early as on page 20 in the aforementioned thread as Aine Shepard...

Image IPB

Few femsheps reach the same degree of maturity, coolness and authority in impression as Aine. That modded hairstyle is an important part of that impression, but also her cool greyish eyes, which I reckon is modded as well, unless the lighting conditions of the shot play me a trick. None can be reproduced in ME1. But one can pretend that she had a different hairstyle at the beginning of this grand adventure and changed her ways through the Lazarus Project in ME2, which also brought changes to her eye colour (by virtue of the Gibbes Save Editor).

If you imagine so, her ME2 face code of...

621.1AG.EA6.K21.KDA.11I.5GE.61C.KH6.1C7.6G7.446

...can be turned into a ME1 face code of...

Female C9
F 1-6, 2-2 (2-3)
He 1-1 (X), 2-10, 3-16, 4-14,5-10, 6-6 (X), 7-20 (X)
E 1-2, 2-1, 3-20, 5-10, 6-1, 7-1 (7-5)
J 1-18, 2-5, 3-16, 4-14
Mo 1-6, 2-1, 3-12, 4-20, 5-17
N 1-6, 2-1, 3-12
Ha 1-7, 2-6 (X), 3-16
Ma 1-4, 2-4

The original transcription of the ME2 code would give an Ha 2-6, but this does not suit Aine well at all. The only hairstyle that could give her some of that elegance back is an Ha 2-8, which is the default setting with the chosen Cycle Preset. More problematic is that the lightest eye colour available in ME1 is an E 7-5. This makes Aine a considerably warmer character than in ME2. Quite different actually. But still interesting (shown below with options in parenthesis selected)...

Image IPB
in profile

Image IPB
checking the CIC

I see very few femsheps with that type of mouth shape, or even that colour for lipstick. Also, few are adorned with that type of eye shape  Here they're combined to produce an unusual character. The result strikes me as a woman with real forte in mental powers. In the old days, long before the space age, they'd probably call her a sorceress. Now they know her as a biotic of immense potential, always checking for signs of trouble in those eyes. Aine is one of a kind.

Enjoy!

Merci beaucoup, brainless78 and Voidlight, for your creative talents and will to share the fruits of your work! :)

Now that we're concentrating on character ideas, I thought I should mention Ginger. Ginger was a femshep idea I scetched upon a couple of years ago. She was supposed to be that real tough, scarred and sulphurous character sporting a serious marine crewcut to make the image of a badass femme complete. During the course of my search for suitable candidates to my GME2CCTME1 project, I encountered very few femsheps with that haircut. In fact, among well over 200 alternatives, maybe 300 or more, in various threads, I can only recall seeing about half a dozen versions for certain.

The first has already been featured in this thread, Flies_by_Handles' Nemain, on page 56 of the main SYS thread...
Image IPB
ME2 face code 111.1EV.C61.M31.W6P.6DW.UU7.3QJ.WV9.RH7.166.616

The second was sagequeen's Valkyrie or Kyrie, on page 46...

The third was Mondo47's Isis in her creator's album...
Image IPB

Then Dark Glasses' Lara was re-discovered, on page 12

Followed by Xeranx's Lisa, on page 102...
Image IPB
code given on image there

Finally Kyrene's Kassia, on page 1706 of the Femshep thread...
Image IPB

If we include that modded mohawk cut, I've seen two more...

Gelokiwi33's Jane, on page 31...
Image IPB

Image IPB

If you want to try these girlies out, or tweak them to your personal heroines for ME1, use one of the converters available via links in the OP.

Ginger stands out a little from these options. So it might be interesting to see her. Here's the basic idea...

Image IPB

Image IPB

Tested three or four different versions of her. When I find the best variant, I'll update this post with regeneration details.

In the meantime, enjoy the fashion of crewcut femme fatales!

...

Edit: For roleplaying example #4, my most elaborate work of that kind to date, you now have to go to this blog, as it grew too cumbersome for this post. I'll focus on mere visual presentation and regeneration data here, which is still yet to come...

The result so far...

Image IPB

Ginger Raine Shepard. Not the average person.

...

In case someone wonders, the above image of "Ginger" is technically the result of using CDAMJC's femshep texture for TexMod in a set of configuration tweaks to enhance the graphics for the game.

                                                                                          B)

Next: Numero Huit.

After that, the plan is to finish the project by showing off two more selectees, then mention a few creations of special merit in certain categories like best resemblance to a celebrity etc. I may follow up with a couple of my own creations for final input, but these will not appear any time soon. My mission here is drawing to a close.

I'd appreciate it if any friend of the creators featured in stage 7 and onwards in the project let the latter know that their work is shown here. I used to PM these artists myself, but the recent change of site rules forbids that type of communication between all members except friends. Veeery social ruling.

Now I'm off on a holiday. Won't be back until end of month or next month. See you then!

Stepping in for the eighth showcase in the...

GREAT ME2 CHARACTERS CONVERTED TO ME1 PROJECT

Male character #8:

On page 16 in the "Share Your Shepard..." thread, Axeface showed a figure that attracted some attention and inspired Iz Stoik zI to produce his Chris found on page 34. It may also have been the base for Ottemis' unmodded version of Dave on page 99, which at least happen to look very similar to Axeface's creation. The latter was named Kael Shepard and got presented like this...

Image IPB

Given ME2 face code: 531.6N4.EGW.12D.RCU.M1W.9QM.67M.S8B.512.E56.6.

However, Axeface later said that this code is "wrong" and that the creator was unable to recreate the character to produce an exact face code. But the data was sufficient for me to come up with a version looking close enough to the original to warrant its place here. My "corrections" (once departing from the source on purpose) are given in parenthesis below.

ME1 face code:

Male C6
F 1-5, 2-3, 4-? (4-12)
He 1-6 (X), 2-23, 3-4, 4-14 (4-22), 5-16, 6-31, 7-1
E 1-2, 2-13, 3-26, 4-12, 5-29, 6-22 (6-14), 7-1 (7-12)
J 1-31, 2-9, 3-25, 4-22
Mo 2-7, 3-22, 4-27, 5-8 (5-10)
N 1-11, 2-5, 3-1
Ha 1-14, 3-2 (X), 4-6

The result...

Image IPB
in profile

Image IPB
straight on

Image IPB
talking to Pressly

For this appearance in ME1, I classified Kael as a soldier, and imagined him a fellow with surprising physical strength. But on second thought, he strikes me (also) as an individual with considerable mental powers and perhaps better suited as a biotic of some kind. Whatever the case, he's a very interesting character well worthy the role of Shepard in any gamer's run of the dramatic trilogy. ;)

                                                                                            . . .

Kael's female companion in this post is due very soon...

Right.

Female character #8:

AwesomeName's Aenea Shepard has graced the pages in different versions several times in more than one thread on this site. First appearance in the "Share Your Shepard..." thread was on page 15, but I find the the most appealing image of her to be the one on page 62 ...

Image IPB

This is said to be a (slightly) modded version of Aenea, who appears a lady full of energy and drive.

Her ME2 face code is: 743.QDG.M17.F86.JDN.65I.1DD.711.KC6.117.6G7.616.

She's been pretty difficult to transfer to ME1 in a way resembling her appearance in ME2. The literal transcriptiion of the code makes her seem "too girlish", IMO. So I made some changes for a somewhat "stronger" impression.

The ME1 face code makes it evident that Aenea was based largely on Cycle Preset 1:

Female C1
F 4-? (early pictures of her face show a scar of type F4-11, which makes for a "X" in correction here - which means no need to touch the F screens)
He 2-15 (2-20), 4-22
E 2-6 (X), 5-23, 7-5 (7-7)
J 1-18, 4-13
Mo 4-20, 5-12
N 2-1
Ha 1-7, 4-7
Ma 1-6, 2-1, 3-6

She came out like this...

Image IPB
about to comment Joker's stance

Image IPB
a soul at the bridge

Image IPB
pretty as few

As you can see, the eyes do not have that special purplish tinge from ME2 and that type of hairstyle appear less fashionable in ME1. Both things can be corrected when the character is imported into ME2, the former when using Gibbed's Save Editor. I think she comes out her best in the second installment of the game series. But for those interested in good-looking femsheps, and a darker version of the default Jane Shepard, if you will, Aenea is a very good choice right from the start in ME1.

For these examples of great sheps, I owe special thanks to Axeface and AwesomeName! If you know them, read my note below.

                                                                                              *

Any friend to the above creators who happen to come by and see their work presented here should consider notifying them about that, as they might be interested in knowing about their role in this project. I can't do that anymore, since only friends get to PM other people on this site nowadays. :pinched:

We can continue with half the next step in the project right away.

In this second last step of...

GREAT ME2 CHARCTERS CONVERTED TO ME1 CHARACTERS PROJECT

...we have...

Male character #9:

Featured here: IntrepidProdigy with his Kai Shepard. The creator's first shown version of this guy looked like some kind of renegade phantom (as seen on page 90). Cooling down a bit, IP made a more humane variant as shown on page 95, which is copied below...

Image IPB

ME2 face code for this cooler variant: 511.RLB.JIM.18E.DET.1AW.PRA.7MI.NB1.1R1.837.6

Translated that into...

Male C1
F 2-1, 4-?
He 1-26 (X), 2-21, 3-11, 4-19, 5-18, 6-22, 7-1
E 1-8, 2-14, 3-13, 4-14, 5-28, 6-1, 7-10
J 1-31, 2-24, 3-26, 4-10
Mo 1-7, 2-22, 3-18, 4-23, 5-11
Ha 1-8, 2-3, 4-7, 5-6

Another shot of ME2 Kai suggests a lighter shade of brown for eye colour, and perhaps also a lighter hue in skin tone, but I stuck to the code for this presentation in ME1. A scar of some kind would suit this guy very well, but I show him without one here...

Image IPB
looking rather stern

This is a forceful character. Relentless work horse. Uncommon black power. Perhaps plagued by a L2 implant. Easily going renegade. Makes everyone near him feeling uneasy. Very interesting creation by IntrepidProdigy. ;)

                                                                                    . . .

Accompanying femshep won't show until tomorrow.

...

OK, "tomorrow" has arrived and the second half of this showcase is due feauring a lady with strong personality. It's...

Female character #9:

In hard competition, I chose to present Keira Shepard by Duchell here. She was submitted to the "Share Your Shepard..." thread on page 34 like this...

Image IPB

Some pics in this mosaic of her show an eye colour achieved by modification using Gibbed's Save Editor, but not all pics. So one should be able to recreate the original rather easily.

ME2 face code for this: 123.P1J.G65.G2W.U9M.I1H.GKD.219.RM5.HC7.7G7.176.

Resisted the temptation to make her skin tone somewhat lighter in order to resemble the ME2 pics of her "better", as it might be interesting to compare them with the literal transcription.

ME1 face code:

Female C6
F 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-? (X)
He 1-24, 2-1, 3-19, 4-16, 5-6, 6-5, 7-16
E 1-2, 2-31, 3-29, 4-9, 5-22, 7-1
J 1-17, 2-16, 3-20, 4-13
Mo 1-2, 2-1, 3-9, 4-26, 5-22
N 1-5, 2-17, 3-12
Ha 1-7, 2-7, 4-7
Ma 1-1

Here's how that played out...

Image IPB

Image IPB
looking charismatic

Keira has one of the strongest personalities I've seen in these fan creation forums. Undoubtedly largely due to that unusual facial structure. The result: nothing girlish about her, but definitely a woman with command potential. The way I like the femmes for this high adventure game. Excellent work by Duchell!

Enjoy. :)

Many thanks to IntrepidProdigy and Duchell for their creative skills and generosity!

PS. You may find Keira improved by ELE08's HD Face Texture mod, as it softens her up a bit...

Next: Last selectees in the project. Followed by some "runners-up" and honourable contributions in various categories. ;)

Time has finally come for the last round of special selectees in the...

GREAT ME2 CHARACTERS CONVERTED TO ME1 PROJECT  :)

That means...

Male character #10:

Wasn't sure this one would pull through to the end here, but I was rather pleasantly surprised. Seen the following images of Gabriel Shepard in the aforementioned thread?

Image IPB
page 66 etc

Image IPB
page 69

Outstanding character! But obviously heavily modded. The creator, Duchell, has shown his knack for such creations more than once. We can't reproduce those properly for this project. But the unmodded version still looked interesting enough for me to test the ME2 face code for it.

This was given as: 121.R8M.MBW.63G.K6P.W4W.PEH.37Q.1S5.AA3.857.6.

Extracted the following ME1 face code from it:

Male C5
F 1-1, 2-2 (2-3), 4-? (4-8)
He 1-26, 2-8, 3-22, 4-22, 5-11, 6-31, 7-6
E 1-3, 3-28, 4-6, 5-24, 6-31, 7-4
J 2-24, 3-14, 4-17
Mo 1-3, 2-7, 3-25, 4-1, 5-27
N 1-5, 2-10, 3-10
Ha 1-8 (1-14), 2-5, 3-3 (3-4), 4-7, 5-6

Based on the ME2 images, I thought the beard should be a little more marked, and the skin tone a bit lighter. I then departed from the code when I found a different hairstyle going better with these changes, spiced up with a scar on the chin. The result shows very well what you can do with these ME2 face codes serving as templates for ME1 characters...

Image IPB

Image IPB

Image IPB

He probably comes out even better as a soldier in heavy armor, as suggested by this image (best appreciated in full size)...

Image IPB

And the original unmodded hairstyle isn't a bad choice, either. Whichever road you take with Gabriel, with a tweak here and there, this guy clearly turns out a powerful figure without advanced modding, too, well deserving a place here and making a nice ending for the line of malesheps featured in the project. My salutations to Duchell for this soulful character!

                                                                                      B)

One more femshep to go for special presentation here. It's a good one. Shortly...

She's ready.

Female character #10:

I have something very fitting the last place here. One of the most talented and most productive creators visiting these forums is ELE08. More than one of her creations were considered for this project. Last work shown in the "Share Your Shepard..." thread, to my knowledge, was this, on page 101...

Image IPB

ELE08's own version of the default femshep Jane Shepard. Obviously created in ME3. Slim chance of appearing fully like that in ME1, I thought. But I checked the creator's profile, which is full of interesting stuff, and found the following face code:

753.1GD.I13.J89.DGG.149.7FK.111.QA7.DA4.2G6.317

Translated it into...

Female C1
F 2-5, 4-? (4-1)
He 1-1 (X), 2-16, 3-13, 4-18, 6-3, 7-19
E 2-9, 3-13, 4-16, 5-16, 6-1, 7-4
J 1-9, 2-7, 3-15, 4-20
Mo 1-1, 4-25, 5-10
N 2-13, 3-10
Ha 2-2
Ma 1-3, 2-1

Jane came out far better than I thought...

Image IPB

Image IPB
looking straight at ya

With an attention to detail and perfection typical of the creator's productions, this character is a great alternative to anyone wanting to play the trilogy from the start with a figure resembling the default femshep of the game. Which makes for a perfect ending of the main project. Courtesy of ELE08! :D

Much oblige, Duchell and ELE08, you two definitely contribute to make the game more fun to play!

                                                                                       *

There you go, fellas, the ten best malesheps and the ten best femsheps of the "Share Your Shepard..." thread, IMO, given the circumstances, have been presented, as I set out to do. My main project on this site is thereby finally completed.
Hurray! :wizard:

Just a couple of more things to wrap it all up here, and then I'll turn to other things.

Naturally, there are many characters out there who could have won a place in the GME2CCME1 project, or should have won a place in the project, if proper image or face code had been given. I'll show some of those faces here for added inspiration to fellow gamers with custom made creations in mind. I'll start with...

The alternate femshep ideas will have to have a post of their own...

PS. If the name of some creators are marked in blue and others are not on my lists in this thread it's because the (colour) formatting of this site is flawed or bugged. All names are marked in highlighting blue in the editing window, but when you hit the submit button the colouring isn't always applied and there's no telling when it will work and when it won't. Can't be bothered to re-edit the colouring too many times for the purpose of hitting jackpot here. Let's see, what will happen when I click "Submit" this time...?

PLUS TWO

Two  creations deserve special treatment here.

The first was referred to as basis for a character shown in a post submitted by AwesomeName on page 63 of the "Share Your Shepard..." thread. The creator of that source was ladyshara, who called her character Shara Shepard and presented her in the "official" ME2 Face Code Database like this...

Image IPB

Given face code there: 743.W3W.117.F8W.JDQ.111.1DQ.71Q.SB6.196.5G7.516

I was so close to feature this character in my main project, but finally decided not to, since she was never properly shared in the thread I said I was picking selectees from. But I think I should show how she appears in ME1:

Image IPB

Definitely a strong personality and one of my favourite femsheps.

The second creation worth special mentioning is the one I consider THE Femshep among all those I've seen so far, because she exudes the strength necessary to prevail in this mega adventure better than any other, IMO. She was created by Babybel, who called her Annie Shepard and presented her like this...

Image IPB

Image IPB

Image IPB

Unfortunately without a face code.

Edit: Finally got hold of Babybel who - lo and behold - managed to dig up the face code from an old comp for you guys: 143.G1H.L6C.E8P.W5R.141.IMB.811.Q55.1G3.2G5.675! I've been unable so far to get a word about its accuracy, though. I've seen pics of Annie in ME1, so I wonder if the above images are the imported result, the real face code of which is not found at the usual place in ME2, but requires a specific procedure to extract, something few are familiar with. But anyone willing to use the code given above will learn soon enough. Thank you for this kind gesture, Babybel.;)

You'll find many more interesting ladies if you look around in these forums.
Enjoy. :)

                                                                                SPECIALS

Just for fun in final inspiration, I've reserved a word for creations in special categories here.

I'd like to show...

One of the most notable characters resembling a male celebrity:

Barack Obama from MickeyMutant's editing of ULICUS's version
Image IPB

121.1FP.JJW.W31.H9R.2BL.CV1.77W.EKA.561.157.6

Not bad at all.

One of the most notable characters resembling a female celebrity:

Starbuck of the Battlestar Galactica series by tirea_atreides
Image IPB

823.WFT.KHW.W8A.V4C.845.D3G.811.T81.411.4G7.126

Whatever the degree of resemblance, I like the result a lot.

One of the most notable male renegades:

MickeyMutant's Scarface
Image IPB

113.WRK.H7W.43F.R6T.B7W.MAS.21G.KC2.638.636.6

A heavy dude indeed.

One of the most notable female renegades:

Omicrone's character
Image IPB

Cold and beautiful as ice crystal.

One of the most notable modded malesheps:

Duchell's Aiden
Image IPB

Might go for a better default maleshep.

One of the most notable modded femsheps:

Samurai_Smartie's character (based on Xhyn's Anya)
Image IPB

A real action broad.

Don't forget the importance of armor choice for the overall impression of the character. This is well illustrated by original6's choice of armor for his or her femshep...

Image IPB

The red armor with contrasting yellow details enhances the exotic nature of that character beautifully. A different choice might have yielded a more bland result and a poorer game experience.

Everyone should be able to make at least one good character, especially with help from a thread like this. To succeed several times requires special talent. There's plenty of that on this site. I'd like to give special credit to a couple of those for their work here.

So, having gone through the sheps market to a fair extent in these forums, if I had a prize to give for the consistently best creator of malesheps and femsheps, respectively, who would I give it to?

In the line of malesheps, I think it stands between Mondo47 and Duchell. But the latter has not shown him to be equally productive, especially not in unmodded creations (which require more work to make interesting). So...

                                                                                  Image IPB
Consistently best creator of malesheps: Mondo47. :wizard:

Check his profile for evidence.

In the line of femsheps, I think one member stands in a class of her own...

                                                                                  Image IPB
Consistently best creator of femsheps: ELE08. :wizard:

Example:

                                                                                             * * *

Now hat off for ALL members who've submitted their characters to the "Share Your Shepard..." thread (and elsewhere)! Your work has been very entertaining for me and many others. Thank you for the show. :D

                                                                                            _ _ _

Right. Whole project's finished. Hope you guys still visiting this thread have enjoyed it.

Again, if you're a friend to anyone with work featured in the project, please notify them of their appearance here, as only friends can provide such services on this site.

                                                                                                *

I'll be concentrating on correcting and updating old posts from now on. Unless someone wishes to comment the content.

Have fun. ;)
